Mercara Aloft

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful homestay nestled amidst the lush greenery of Coorg in Madikeri. First and foremost, the location of this homestay is a true gem. Surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of Coorg, it offers a respite from the chaos of everyday life. The property is tucked away from the bustling city, allowing guests to truly connect with nature and soak in the peace and quiet. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional hospitality extended by the hosts. The warmth and friendliness they exuded made me feel right at home. They were incredibly attentive to every need, ensuring that I had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. From offering valuable local insights to arranging sightseeing tours and providing delicious home-cooked meals, the hosts went above and beyond to create a memorable stay for my solo trip. Mr Bopanna and Appu(home caretaker) made sure I had a comfortable and lovely experience at their homestay.

Comfortable stay with peaceful view of greenery and madikeri town. Clean rooms and Toilets,Stayed for a day , really had great experience with 💯 safety for couples. Located at the Heart of the town. Owner Bopanna is very kind and helped for smooth hotel booking process and finally Appu (Home care taker) is very helpful in arranging cabs, dinner(was roaming around whole madikeri hotels in the peak long weekend with his bike) and very humble in greeting guests. He is very active and made sure guests feel comfortable with this home stay. From checkin till checkout ,Appu was more supportive and helpful. Due to high demand on peak weekend,not able to book continuous days in Mercara Aloft. We have decided to stay @ Mercara Aloft in our future visit to Coorg. Will rate this stay - 10/10

I really had a bad experience with this Homestay. Having booked through agoda few weeks in advance, we were taken by shock when we heard the owner say "I didnt receive any confirmation and hence I had allocated to someone else". Arrival to Coorg in the early hours couldn't have been more frustrating than this. While I had the confirmation from agoda, this person neither attempted to reach me via email beforehand nor accepted the mistake. No signboard, no contact number on google.

The property is located in the heart of madikeri looking over a beautiful valley a perfect spot cozy family weekend getaway . The host is very friendly and makes sure the guests feel as comfortable as possible.
