Cats Den

An amazing retreat.. Wonderful accommodation and very homely. Unlike many other such plantations.. Cat's Den is very homely.. It is a genuine homestay where the owner personally hosts you.. The package includes breakfast and dinner and the food is cooked by the lady of the house herself.. Amazing fish and chicken. The coffee plantation itself is very beautiful.. They also organise a bonfire in the evenings.. You can also go fishing and crab hunting in the property..a perfect place for a weekend getaway

Great place and a great host family ! Been to coorg many times and his place is my favourite spot for a real homestay experience. Food cooked by the themselves and the lush estate tour topped with a bonfire just makes every stay the best memory of coorg. Thanks Naveen macha ! Cheers !

Beautiful place facing the beautiful Coorg town and the coffee Estate. It was indeed a great stay with the hosts of the estate being very friendly and hospitable. The place is located very close to the city.

Hello Everyone, I do not suggest any of you to go to this place. The owner Naveen Madiah is just not PROFESSIONAL. The typical money minded guy who calls you over and over during your inquiry and gets the booking and amount transfer done. We have had a horrible experience where me and my wife had been to a golf tournament in MDGC and decided to stay here. We had booked for two days and eventually decided that it would actually be tough to stay a single day. We vacated early next day. Very very average quality, horrible bed, no mosquito coil, no electricity, no hot water in the morning ...was a total disaster. Its almost over a month and the Mr. Naveen is yet to return our one day payment which he had agreed to. What more nowadays he does not even answer the phone calls. Totally money minded and very very un-professional. Cheers, Shashi
