The location is very convenient, with several sightseeing spots nearby, and the service was good. The staff was always quick to respond to our requests, which made our stay more comfortable. The property itself is decent, but there is room for improvement. The building and rooms could benefit from some updates. A bit more attention to detail, such as ensuring clean beds, fixing broken wardrobes, and making the space more visually appealing, would really enhance the overall experience. While it wasn’t bad, it certainly wasn’t exceptional either. Thank you for the service and i wish you all the best with your business.

Rooms are kept clean and tidy. Drinking water was available but not sure how old it was and some of the cups were smelling, so we washed them before use. Wifi isn't available and internet is an issue. Self check in was super easy, the host is nice and has a caretaker at the property.

Amazing place to stay. The owner is a very nice lady who accommodated me and my friend warmly and went out of her way to make our stay convenient. The homestay is located at the heart of madikeri with raja seat at walkable distance and everything else in close proximity too. The room tariff is also justifiable based on the spaciousness of the room and the prime location of the property. The ground floor room in which we stayed had two halls, one bedroom and a washroom. This was huge just for me and my friend. Would recommend wholeheartedly and will stay there once again on my next visit.

We, 13 of us stayed in Balkis Home Stay and found it as an excellent place. We took all 4 rooms in the first floor for our use and it was very comfortable and we found that the cost of stay also reasonable. Morning breakfast is complimentary, breakfast served was very homely and we enjoyed it. Owner of this home stay and her employees are very polite and helpful. They helped us in providing suggestions to visit places and arranged the trip to Mandalpatti, a place one should not miss. Overall the stay at Balkis Home Stay was very memorable and we enjoyed it.

We have been to this place many a times. Everytime its a fresh new experience. We have been with family and relatives at different occasions. The pleasure of having a house on a hill station and enjoying the mild cool breeze sitting in the verandah is beautiful. Bilkis is quite co-operative and prepares homely breakfast. They are a group of home stays so do not disappoint and allots any of its bungalows' room.

We stayed here during the first weekend of January 2016. The Hostess is very nice ...... That is about all that is nice about the place. Facilities are very basic - hard beds,no proper furniture in room, poor upkeep in common areas. The Owner's driver thinks he is the boss ... he decides who parks his car where ...There was a power outage and a TV outage .... all this in a space of 36 hours. Best avoided if possible

The place is nice and clean and at the heart of madikeri. Each room has 2 double beds and can accomodate upto 5 people. The view is good and but the price is a bit on the higher side as compared to some other hotels and homestays.

We have been there on oct'13, home stay was good. within a km from madikeri town and raja's seat. owner was good and well behaved. maid was also helpful. ||||Rooms are okay, spacious and clean. hot water was available.||||Only problem was view was not good from balcony.
