Prem Kuteer Homestay

We travel as a couple and prefer staying in the comfort of home - and we found Prem Kuteer just perfect. Mind you, it's not a hotel or a resort. So, don't expect room service and staff that will be a ring away or available on demand. It's like a home away from home. The owners of the house stay on the ground floor and the floor above is for guests. The entrance opens into a hall and attached kitchen, which is a common area. Then there are 3 bedrooms. We had taken the room with an attached balcony that offers a breath-taking view of the town. And a spectacular view of sunrise. The rooms and bathroom are clean and well ventilated. Treat this like your own house and be responsible - keep it clean, use water and electricity responsibly. The owner, especially Mamata, will ensure you have a comfortable stay. Thank you 🙏🏼, Mamatha, for making our stay memorable. Don't miss the awesome filter coffee she makes and home-cooked food. Special mention - there are 2 dogs (Rani and another black one). Both adopted, and 2 cats. All animals, especially Rani, are super-friendly. She will shower all her love on you and welcome you every time you return home. You can blackmail her with glucose biscuits and Pedigree to shake hands and even kiss you 🤣. She's adorable and very well mannered. You can rent a scooter or a motorcycle from nearby or even a car. Go to Raja's Seat, explore the local market, Omkareshwar Temple, Golden Temple, Abbey's Fall, experience fantastic sunsets from the lane behind the house, local food, culture, and lots more. Don't miss the morning jeep ride to Mandalpatti to experience paradise! Jeeps are available from the market area. We are an adventurous couple and we highly recommend this place. We will definitely repeat this should we travel to Coorg again.

We stayed here for 3 days and it was an awesome experience. The owner Mamatha is very kind. The surroundings are very neat and clean with a lot of plants and flowers, spacious .. their pet Ronnie is such a cutie. We had a soulful time here with a sweet family. Never felt so refreshed after a trip. Felt like we stayed at a place where we coexist with nature. Will definitely recommend to friends

This was a splendid place to book for your trips and the host was very sweet and hospitable..... The stay is located very near to Raja's seat and has a splendid view from the balcony. This place is perfect since the spots in Madikeri were very close to each other and can be covered by walk (like around 15 - 20 minutes). We had a wonderful experience staying here and not to forget in mentioning our little hosts 🐶😺, who were very friendly and cute. Overall a great and safe stay to be considered.

Enjoyed my stay here with my husband and kids. Good location, easy to locate from Raj Seat. Kind and compassionate hosts/owners Hygienic food, exciting views, wonderful weather and peaceful environment made my stay so happy.

It’s just 600 mts from Raja’s seat garden. Overall we stayed here for two days. Room, bed and wash room were kept so clean. View from balcony was awesome ! You can see entire town from balcony. Special thanks to Mamata aunty for her care during our stay ! A small request to the people who are planning to stay here is, please don’t smoke inside the home and make other stayers uncomfortable.

Had a wonderful stay for 4 days. Mamatha ma'am was very polite and helpful. She helped us with cab, jeep and auto bookings. The room was nice, clean and spacious. The dogs on property are very friendly and playful. The view from property is very nice especially in the mornings. Would love to stay there again.
