Naada Homestay - ನಾಡ ಹೋಮ್ ಸ್ಟೇ

A homestay we bumped into unexpectedly. We originally booked another homestay, but the unethical host cancelled the reservation at the last minute and after frantic search we got the contact details of Mr & Mrs. Guru Prashad. Though their homestay was not available they went above and beyond and arranged this homestay which is just couple of buildings from their homestay (Brindavana). Now coming to our stay at Naad Homestays: Pros: 1) Though we checked-in here with no other option, alas, at the end of our stay we were glad we checked in here. 2) A 2-bhk homestay on the first floor, with attached bathrooms on both the bedrooms, a medium sized bed on both the bedrooms, with additional cots, very large balcony. 3) We also got access to the rooftop, from which we could witness the beauty of Madekiri and this turned out to be our favourite spot in the night time. 4) No covered car parking, but can be parked safely in the street. 5) Heaters on both the bathrooms. 6) Location - located about 3 kms downhill from the town center towards Mangalore highway. Very serene and peaceful atmosphere. Cons: 1) No kitchen, refrigerator. When we checked-in, even bubble top / RO water is not available and on request they denied they dont provide. Again with the help of Mr & Mrs. Guru Prashad, they finally provided 5 litres of Bisleri water. Same goes to towels. 2) Wifi - though available, the speed is not that great. Overall, had a memorable stay.

Best place to stay at madikeri. It feels like at home at this place. A perfect homestay in true sense. I will surely love to come back and stay at this home stay again. Rooms and bathrooms are very neat and clean.

Mr. Devaiah was very courteous and helpful with the service. Very homely. Very affordable and comfortable room.
