I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Utthunga for 3 days during my vacation, and it was an amazing experience! 1. Sachin Sir was incredibly polite and professional, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay. 2. The rooms were superb, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Truly a perfect space to relax and unwind. 3. The 360-degree view from the hotel was absolutely breathtaking—such a unique and beautiful sight! 4. The staff went above and beyond. Not only did they take care of the room, but they also helped with booking cabs, arranging food, and assisting with other services. Overall, my journey at Hotel Utthunga was unforgettable, and I can’t recommend it enough. Thank you to the wonderful team for making this trip so special!

Superb Stay Room was so clean and spacious with awesome view. Care taker was well mannered. Nearby city market. We have hosted by Mr Sachin with all coordination. Overall experience was so good. Must visit. 😍

A home stay with excellent location and services. Don’t expect luxury but the rooms are spacious with a 360 degree view. It’s minimalist and elegant. Safe and clean. Must stay if you are considering home stays.

I planned my first ever solo trip on this Birthday and it was an unbelievably amazing experience. The stay was safe and secure and the breakfast they served was hygienic and tasty. The management is also very welcoming and comfortable. The maintenance is highly appreciated as well. I have been recommending all my contacts about this property since I have had such a perfect and also a peaceful stay here.

Good location and great view. Breakfast was good. Zomato and Swiggy delivery available. You can see sunset from here and it’s very beautiful. I would have given 4.5 star but no option to rate it.

Hi, we have stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days, had very good experience room was very neet and clean and organised perfectly. Breakfast was delicious. Staffs are very friendly. I can say It's perfect homestay for family. There is one govt run Shop at madikeri market there you will find coffee nd tea powder, chocolates at very reasonable price.

I stayed at Utthunga Homestay during my visit to Coorg, and it was truly a delightful experience. This was my first time booking a homestay as I usually prefer hotels, but I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The breakfast served was delicious, and even though I’m not typically a fan of South Indian cuisine, I really enjoyed the food here. It changed my perspective entirely. The owner, Sachin, was incredibly warm and welcoming. His hospitality added a personal touch to the stay, making it all the more enjoyable. The location of the homestay is another big plus—peaceful yet conveniently located. After staying here, my mindset about hotels being better than homestays has completely changed. I would highly recommend Utthunga Homestay to anyone planning a trip to Coorg. It's an experience worth having!
