A good homestay amidst of the coffee estate. It's a very quiet and calm place deep inside the forest and people friendly staffs. Its a 4 bedroom house for the guests. We were served with good options for veg and non veg for dinner. Breakfast was also served with 2 varieties of veg and kids enjoyed it too. Rooms were maintained clean. Camphire was set at 8 PM on both the days of our stay. Geyser alone to be maintained properly in the master bedroom upstairs. Overall it was a great stay for our vacation and would recommend it.

So I stayed alone in the balcony room and it was a garden/greenery facing view which was very serene. I loved the villa which was beautifully constructed and the interiors were good too! Only negative point was some taps had leakage and the lighting in the bathroom was sub-par. Other then this I enjoyed my stay.. The hosts were very friendly and helpful even if we decide to get back late. Ample of parking space for many cars, can host upto 20 people at once. And luckily I had rhe whole villa go myself as I stayed alone :P Awesome!

It's a very beautiful place to stay , Sorrounded my coffee and black pepper plantation from there you can visit all near waterfalls and hilly areas ,|They have their own kitchen and other amenities,|Actually it's a big banglow whose partial part is spare free for visitors ,|Their charges are nominal |If you want peace and family environment that it must be your choice

We visited for a weekend trip to Chikmagalur. Butter cloud homestay was suggested by a friend so we booked it. It is beautifully constructed house with ample space. Moreover it is in the midst of their own coffee and pepper corn plantation. It is a serene and a very peaceful place to be with wonderful hosts. And not to mention the food, purely homemade and local cuisine. Only negative point was that the homestay is little far from all the main tourists spots, so if you can drive bit long distances for visiting the tourists spots it's fine. All over had a wonderful stay, and if you are up for home made wines, they have that as well for reasonable prices.

We stayed here for couple of days and we did not feel like it's a homestay. The purpose of choosing a homestay rather than hotel or resort is to feel like you are at home but the hosts were not welcoming and felt like they did not want us there. The only time they spoke to us was when they wanted to sell coffee and wine. The food was not good. Rooms were clean and ordinary (not what you expect for the price) but the heaters in bathroom turned off automatically and would not turn on again. Location was good and was in a midst of coffee plantation. But the lack of hospitality made this vacation a bad experience. At the least they could have smiled!! Pricey, lack of hospitality and subpar food!! Edit: We wanted to watch the match for which we requested recharge of Sports18 channel (Rs.8) but initial response was they will not be able to do that because of network connectivity and other weird reasons said by the hosts. We then had to reach out to property owner post which everything was set into motion. These little things really matter because these set tone for the stay!! Felt like we were unwanted neighbours

Disappointing Experience: Ordinary Rooms, Poor Hospitality I recently stayed at Butter clouds with my wife and two more families and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience overall. The rooms were quite ordinary, lacking the comfort and amenities expected for the price. The hospitality was subpar; the staff seemed disinterested and unresponsive to guest needs. It felt like a money-driven approach was prioritized over guest satisfaction. Moreover, the overall atmosphere lacked warmth and genuine care for guests' experiences. From check-in to check-out, there was a consistent feeling of neglect. I regret that I didn't feel valued as a guest during my stay. The reviews posted in Google are paid reviews I feel. I stayed in multiple resorts in the past seven years and without a doubt worst resort is this. Despite the picturesque location the dining experience was far from satisfactory. The food served throughout my stay was consistently below par. The menu options for breakfast Dosai and lemon rice were limited, and the dishes lacked flavor, freshness, and variety. It seemed like little effort was put into ensuring a delightful culinary experience for guests. Even basic dishes like Tea and Coffee fell short of expectations in terms of taste and presentation. Moreover, the service in the dining area was not up to the mark. No proper staffs to help. The owner Ranjith was not there in the resort. Hence for every support, we need to reach out to him and his staffs come to help. Worst breakfast , ordinary rooms make this stay very ordinary. 1500 per head with breakfast is very pathetic. I hope that the management takes steps to improve the culinary offerings to match the standard one would expect from homestays.

Great stay, Paw friendly place which had enough room to accommodate us. Hosts were kind, with top notch hospitality, stay was in the midst of coffee plantation where we can watch fireflies for all night long. Please subscribe to the food, they had amazing home food.

Butter Clouds is one of its kind Homestay with all the facilities for vacation. Hosts of the property are very warm and wonderful. Place is amazing in between lush nature. Their food is simply amazing and they prepare food in accordance with your choice which will be provided in advance. Place is having ample car parking and plenty of place to move around. Morning views are mesmerizing and their Filter Coffee in the morning is a perfect pair to match up the vibe. They do have amazing their own produce on sale like coffee and peppercorns and some ther naturally produced goods. Overall this is a perfect place for weekend getaway into the nature with perfect facilities. Cheers Guys!!!
