River Edge Valley Homestay

I had booked a homestay for 6 members, but unfortunately, the property owner canceled the booking, citing an "emergency closure" one week prior. It’s quite amusing how such emergencies are known so far in advance, clearly reflecting a lack of professionalism. This last-minute cancellation caused significant inconvenience for me and my family, especially during the festival season. We were forced to make alternative arrangements at double the cost of the original booking. To make matters worse, the property owner did not even attempt to arrange a backup. It feels like this has become a recurring trend, where property owners cancel pre-existing bookings if they receive better offers from other guests. This is unethical and causes immense distress to customers. Such practices tarnish the reputation of homestay services, and I sincerely hope steps are taken to address this issue and prevent such incidents in the future.

It was a serene holiday at the river edge valley. Exceeded expectations. The care taker was a star. Overall experience was breathe taking... loved living with the nature. A much needed break.

The location is so so picturesque.. it just beautiful. The food is very homely we enjoyed it. They were happy to indulge all our last minute requests. Hospitality was great. The rooms are basic, clean. The views from the sit outs are lovely. It was a short family vacation, 12 of us across age groups from 20 odd to 80+ and all enjoyed themselves. If you are looking for a break to just get away and relax with very limited connectivity. This is a great option.

River Edge Valley Homestay is a beautiful place to disconnect from city life and enjoy a nature-inspired atmosphere, surrounded by lush green views. The service and the delicious home-cooked food (especially the pepper chicken and Coorg chicken) are top-notch.

River Edge Valley Homestay does give you the homely vibe surrounded by breathtaking view all around and with their lip smacking food. The rooms are very well maintained with sit outs making it a perfect picturesque relaxing time. Kudos to both Vikas & Vishal who are the perfect hosts ensuring ultimate comfort and the cherry on top is Gagan who uplifts the word caretaking by his constant smile, great service & delicious food. Thank you very much & will surely be visiting again!

One of the best and well-maintained homestay, they provide tasty and hygienic homemade foods, and the rooms are also neat, clean, and spacious. This homestay is surrounded by scenic views of the mountains which were pleasing to our eyes.

We had a team outing to Coorg and chose this place as our stay. The place is located in a serene location. The service provided by Vikas and Vishal is amazing. They are really hospitable and I truly recommend their place to anyone looking an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life..!!
