We myself, wife and our daughter stayed here for 2 days on May 5th and 6th. The place was really comfortable for a family. The staff were really friendly and cooperative. They provided us good homely food. The house is located in a calm locality. Sathish, Kumar and the other 2 boys (sorry for not remembering their names) were really friendly and courteous. I would certainly stay here if we happen to come to Mysore again. My family also was also quite impressed and appreciated me for choosing this place. Staff arranged good car for me to travel around.

Very nice homestay, and very good home food. I found this place for 3000 per night for two family ( 4 adults and 2 kids) . AC room with two beds . So good one for a sleep over. The breakfast is awesome for 85 rupees. Liked it very much. The people over their are friendly and don't really disturb your privacy. You can even call them up middle of night for a cup of milk for the baby. They help you. They have a full fledged kitchen and 24x7 hot water. There is space for parking 3 cars and the road is wide enough to park some more. Since there was a Watchman , it's not that scary for me to park outside. Besides this place is 200m from wax museum, 1.5 km from zoo and 2 km from palace and 14 km from airport. Overall a nice place for family stay.

Stayed there for 2 days (28 and 29-Apr) with my family(5 adults and 5 children's). Rooms were clean, spacious and very well maintained.||Kumar who stays there and manages the property and his team were very courteous. We all, elders to kids, enjoyed the stay there. Also they prepared tasty and hygienic food as per our choice and served it on time. we had food all the times there only during our stay in Mysore. ||They have love bird and rabbits kept in the open space in ground floor. Kids enjoyed playing with them. It's very much value for money and not even a single thing to complain about. Thanks to Mr.Kumar and his team for our pleasant stay.||||-Ramesh

Sunlarge Homestay is extremely simple homestay in Mysore which serves its primary purpose. Great food , great sleep and very helpful staff. We stayed there for couple of days and hosts took great care of us, very hospitable. Nancy is one of the cutest pug you can meet. Location is great not too far from any of Mysore's touristic attractions. Still it lies in a quiter side of city not too much hustle bustle or crowding. Homestay is extremely clean and well kept, again as I said its not jazzy or awesomely cool, its very basic but still recommend for a family stay in Mysore.

Sunlarge is located in Siddhartha layout, just 2 buildings away from the Wax Museum. The location is excellent. What I mean by that is.. The zoo is just about 2.5 kms away and so is the Karanji lake and the main bus stop. Despite being on the main road, it gives no impression of it when you stay there.All the rooms and bathrooms are very clean and spacious. The staff is extremely accommodating (we were 2 friends with our kids and we would have our hands full at times and they would just prop up and keep the kids busy till we were done sorting ourselves out). They have a dog, some rabbits and birds which the kids absolutely loved. The only reason I'm giving a star less is because of the food. It isn't the best and it isn't the worst either. Just that it could be a little better. That said, their curd rice is the best I've had in a very long time. For the rates and the location it is definitely a steal.

We stayed here for one night. The best part about this place is its location. Its right next to the wax museum and close to the zoo, station etc. ||The service is pretty good. Kumar, Satish and Ravish were very helpful. The rabbits and pet bird help to all liveliness to the place. They can have some more options in the breakfast menu but overall a good place.

Nice. Homely place to stay. People are very polite and the service is provided was excellent. Must stay place for family. Food is very hygienic and kids will definitely love the place. Overall enjoyed the stay. Also started recommending the place to my friends and family.

Selected this place as we needed a pet friendly hotel to stay for a family weekend outing. We had taken 3 rooms on the ground floor as were a group of 9 including 3 children. |Cons:|The upholstery, linen and fittings are worn out and need to be upgraded badly. |The rooms had wooden tiling but the tiles were loose and there were gaps in between them as well. |Bathrooms reminded you of government guest houses if you know what I mean... No hot water in the bathrooms as they had only solar heaters which were ineffective - supposedly due to cloudy weather and occasional showers...isn't that the season when one needs hot water for baths especially with children around??|Food was average quality though freshly prepared and served piping hot|The exterior space is much smaller that you would expect from the photos as there are no lawns contrary to the impression one gets from the photos on site |Drawing room sofa was badly worn out and seats were covered with a towel like cloth which you wouldn't feel like sitting on at all. In addition got the impression that some of the staff slept on it at night so that had a negative impact despite drawing area being so spacious||Pros|Staff was good and efficient.|Rooms are pretty big but really need to be renovated
