She was always available to help, and her warmth and care created a truly homely atmosphere. Her son was equally supportive, going out of his way to assist us with anything we needed, whether it was guidance on local attractions or simply making sure we felt welcome. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and we felt surrounded by positivity and warmth. The entire experience left us with such good memories, and we genuinely appreciated the heartfelt effort they put into making our stay special. Our stay at Karthik's homestay in Udupi was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality that made us feel at home. The host was incredibly responsive, kind, and attentive, ensuring every detail was taken care. The property was well-maintained and clean. A heartfelt mention goes to the host’s mother, whose sweet and caring nature added a special warmth to our experience. The location of the homestay was ideal, with easy access to key attractions in Udupi, yet nestled in a calm and quiet neighborhood. We wholeheartedly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Udupi.

My entire Udupi trip was wonderful except my stay at SKS Homestay. Reasons - We booked 2 AC with water heater room. Upon arrival we were given non AC non heater room. Upon complaining we were provided with 1 stand fan. - One of the room’s bed’s mattress was smaller than the bed. Faced difficulty while sleeping (Photo Uploaded). - Other room bed was broken, upon complaining the host got it fixed, but it broke again. I had to manage 2 nights on that broken bed. - Upon arrival there was no electricity, power backup was down. We were asked to stay out by the host. He didn’t have proper license to host guests and some authority were coming for a visit. - Bed-sheet, room and bathroom was dirty. We booked through Airbnb, upon complaining we got a partial refund. We asked for a mattress but the Air Bnb support team told us that mattress was not included in our booking. (How are we supposed to sleep without a mattress ?). It’s a failure from both Host and AirBnb.
