Cheppanam House

It's a very scenic and beautiful property. Apt place for a family/friends gathering. Very calm and quiet! The lawn is one of the most pretty places. 2 rooms are waterfront facing while one is on the other side.. The property however was a big let down in terms of service of food.. The cook there feels he's doing us a favour by making food for us. I would suggest ppl to only order food using swiggy/Zomato onto the property instead of relying on the cooking of the in house cook. Will save you money as well as the attitude of the cook! The saving grace in terms of service was Mr Ramesh who did everything possible to make our stay smooth and comfortable. If not for him our stay wouldn't have been enjoyable at all! This property really deserves to have better ppl manning it as it is one of the most beautiful ones iv stayed at in Kochi!

A good place to stay. Food options were limited and may have to use Swiggy, Zomato etc. This was a few years back. Wouldn’t know now. Otherwise , very comfortable place to stay, with a lawn extending to the backwater.

From the booking itself, everyone from the stay vista team was super helpful. Communication was excellent from the team, they send us the google maps direction in advance, pre ordering menu, etc etc. The location was breathtaking. The moment you enter in the property, you feel like out of this world. Rooms, washrooms, public areas, dinings, lawn, etc everything was well maintained. RAMIZ was an excellent help and is there for anything you need. Never ever miss the Sunrise. My God that was the best part. Right from the room, straight out into the lawn with an amazing and breathtaking view of the sunrise. We went for Kayaking in the morning, did fishing in the evening. Tea Snacks everything was so tasty. The best place to visit with family and kids. Lots of open space for kids to play around. So relaxed and enjoyed stay. Thank you Stay Vista team.

The place has a breath taking view of a water body and an extensive lawn in the back. The Villa is Travancore style and reassembled from a 150 years old villa. Solid wood panelling and roof are exquisite. Good hospitality and food. It has the right kind of calmness to detox.

Honestly speaking, such a beautiful place. Hospitality - Awesome!! A special thanks to Mr.Ramesh for helping us out in setting everything for the birthday celebration. Food - Outstanding!! especially seafoods and barbecue!! Hats off to Chef.Lal and Ramesh.. View - No word to describe this. This was a hidden gem in this location. The lawn and view was outstanding… However there was no barricade at the end. It’s can be a little risky to leave kids running around the lawn without an adult supervision.

Superb place to stay. Calm and quiet. Te sunrise views are not to be missed. Excellent food in house. Special thanks to Mr. Kuruvilla who went out of his way to make our stay comfortable.

Soon as you enter the gate of the property, you will realize that you are in for a treat... Property and landscaping adds to the beautiful location... You've got a total of 3 rooms, all spacious, clean and well maintained. Two of them has the beautiful view of the riverside. Hospitality is top notch... Staffs are all helpful and welcoming... Property is definitely not easy on your pocket but at the end of the day you won't feel overcharged... They do provide delicious food on demand on an extra charge. Kudos to the chef... They do have kayaking facility as well... Perfect for families or group of friends...

Wonderful property with 3 bed rooms (two attached to the main house) and an expansive living space with views of the backwaters. The staff is just amazing - service with a smile always. If you let them know in advance of something special you would like to eat, they will prepare it for you.
