The Pod Cochin Homestay

Rooms very clean / cleanest room we’ve had whilst travelling India. Whole building well maintained. Lovely hosts, organised some laundry for us which was picked up and drop back off at the home stay! Perfect location very close to main part of fort kochi. Can’t recommend enough, wish we could of stayed longer!

The room was neat and clean. AC and geyser etc was in working condition. The common kitchen was good and was not lacking the basic amenties. The owner was well mannered .

This an amazing place to stay in fort kochi, small guest house but super clean, access to full equipped kitchen, drinking water, kettle, fridge… Rooms with fan and air con and renovated, really comfy beds and pillows 🥰🥰🥰 And Josep, the owner and his family always on top of everything and willing to help. Really nice people. We spent 8 days there and we are so grateful 🙏🙏🙏

It was such a lovely and pleasant stay. Really loved the owner's helpful gestures. It's good to walk around the locality as well. We had hired a scooter so it was very feasible for us to go to nearby sites like the Indo-Portugese museum, Vasco da Gama square, church and navy museum. The photos I've posted don't do justice to the actual place but anyway I'm posting screenshots of video I had taken of the place as it felt so homely. Month of stay: June 2023

We stayed here for 7 nights from 26 Dec - 2 Jan. We were delighted and I would definitely stay here again and recommend this Homestay to anyone. Our room was big and light and bright and airy. Spotlessly clean when we arrived. Very comfortable beds. Great hot water shower with good pressure. Shared dining area and kitchenette next to our room that is also very light and bright so we felt as if we were in our own apartment- lots of space! Hosts are very sweet and helpful. I got bitten in the street by fire ants and they gave me anti histamine cream straight away. Excellent value for money. Fir what we paid we thought it was 5 stars!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely homestay. Joseph is a great host and he works hard to ensure his guests have a great stay. The rooms are comfortable, bright, spotlessly clean and well-appointed. the windows have bug screens so you can open them at night and the ac is very efficient. There’s hot water for showers and the bathrooms are bright and modern. In every respect this is a great place to stay - the best in our tour of Kerala and very reasonably priced too!

I picked this hotel due to it's great location and comfortable room as the first stop after flying in from the US. Plenty to do within walking distance, no reason to rent a bike / car unless you want to go shopping. Hotel owner arranged a driver for us and was very nice. The hotel upkeep is excellent with a very clean room without odors, insects or damage. The mattress was rather comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. The room had a desk to work a full day. The AC and ceiling fan along with windows kept us very comfortable. The hotel is located within talking distance to most of the tourist attractions on the island. The room was large with a nice desk, the bathroom was large & comfortable. The hotel is located in a large building with 3 floors, each having several rooms along with a common area that was very clean and always empty.
