Kevin's Placid Home Stay

I didn't really enjoy my stay here too much, the room was not too bad, some improvements definitely need to be made with fixing mosquito netting. The room was clean and the fan was working but I didn't really feel like the host was too hospitable or communicative even when checking out, no effort was made to say bye.

I had a wonderful stay at Kevin's Placid Homestay. The lady who owns the place was incredibly polite and cooperative, even lending us her umbrella when needed.The homestay itself was peaceful and cozy, Plus, her cat with adorable kittens added a special touch to the experience.

We stayed at Kevin's for 4 nights. We had the room on the top floor so having the AC really helped. Room was absolutely spic n span. Super clean sheets and towel. Bathroom was small but well kept. The owners are very friendly and let us keep our luggage even after check out till we had to take our flight ahead. Many people staying here so chances are that you will make friends easily. They also offer a we'll equipped common kitchen to use. All in all excellent value for money and a great stay!

If you don't mind the route, the balcony views and the price of the air-conditioned room, Kevin's placid homestay is definitely a good choice. Because the rooms and Bathrooms are very clean with always hot water. There is a very honest lady as well. It is walking distance from Fort Kochi. There is a good kitchen for everyone to use. 4.6/5

The Homestay is one of the best stays I came across in Kochi. The owner is very nice lady and helpful. The room is kept very clean and tidy and they give basic things if you request. Quite good for couples and for small families too. The Rooms are located at the upper floor so, not necessary to visit the main home entrance, but there's a way to go from a side. The owner doesn;t have any restrictions on timings and all, only the checkout time needs to be asked first. Also yes, there's a common living room with basic cooking utensils and water purifier . Quite a good and co-operative homestay. Will surely recommend

Rooms are decently sized. It's very clean. Hosts are extremely helpful. They even kept our luggage for a few days while we went to Munnar. Wifi is strong. We worked from here and faced no issues. You get hot water all the time like a hotel. Bathroom is also very clean. We stayed for 5 days and cooked in the shared kitchen where you have access to a water purifier, fridge, stove and enough utensils. The homestay is in a narrow lane and you need to carry your luggage to the first or second floor. But if that's not too much of a hassle, this stay is close to fort kochi, beach, good places to eat and the Kerala Cultural centre and offers you a relaxing and calm stay. Room rates are extremely affordable!

Peaceful place to stay at. It's a little aloof, from the main road. Rooms are good, airy, and clean. The balcony is a plus point. Beware of mosquitoes. Also, it has a well-equipped kitchen to cook anything you want.

Homely little place on a quiet street that has perfect Kerala vibes. Friendly and helpful service that goes above and beyond what others offer. Bathrooms are clean and functional and the A/C works. Rooms are airy and cool. Access to a little kitchen, drinking water and balcony adds a nice touch. Walking distance to Fort Kochi area and short rickshaw ride away from Jew Town. Easy to find with good cafes nearby. Can not recommend this enough.
