High Island Homestay

We (adults and our 2 children) had a wonderful stay at high island homestay. Neetu the host was very welcoming, the room was great for the price (AC and a fan) The location was good. Nestled between two busier roads, so nice and quiet. All the sights of fort kochi are easily accessed on foot from here.

Room was neat and had a pleasant smell. We booked a room which is sufficient for two members. Whenever required, the property owner turned on the heater for hot water. The property owner is also very kind and helpful. The stay is near to several tourist spots in Fort Kochi.

My best experience in a homestay till date. The host is warm and welcoming. The rooms are clean and well maintained. We stayed here for 2 days and didn't face any issue. You can spend some time with their cats too. The host even wake up early to keep our bags as we reached early in the morning.

When we making a research for our trip to Kochi I picked several guest houses and homestays to check and choose from. But we barely looked at them because High Island Homestay was the first one we stopped at and it was just ideal. First of all the location is great. The house is situated in a quiet side street buy you can reach all the sights on foot. There are several nice restaurants in walking distance. The house is so well maintained. You can feel the attitude of the friendly and helpful hostess. The rooms are comfortable and clean, WiFi is at full swing. We are happy we stayed here. This Homestay made our time in Kochi even better.

Clean spacious rooms with balcony. Well lighted room. Washroom was very clean. Good view from the rooftop. If you are looking for a budget freindly homestay then go for it. Also Neethu was an excellent host she provided us the wifi password and address for the bike rentals(which is available within 200 meters)

We had a three days trip to Cochin a week ago. Me and my hubby looked for lots of homestays near fort cochi and I chooses this High Island homestay after a call with Neethu(owner). She is so kind and help full. We are from tamilnadu went there by train so reached the homestay earlier (@8AM). Even the check in time is 11 AM, she was given her kids room to is for our refreshment since the guest checkout by 11.Also the room was very neat and well maintained. Whatever help we ask she will do without any hesitation. Most suggested homestay for family. We had three wonderful days at this homestay. Really worth the each penny. Thank you Neethu for this wonderful homestay,😊

One of the best Roomstay near Kochi fort. Top advantages are: 1. Bustand is very near to the room. Just a 100 m walk. 2. Kochin fort beach 500-700 m walk. From there you can use boats to go more places like man made highland, High court kochi, etc . 3. Best parotta - beaf hotels nearby. 4. Comfortable rooms with AC and the bathroom is very clean. 5. The representative is very helpful and she will do all the needful. If you're looking for a best homestay near fort kochi, definitely you can go with "High island home stay".
