The prices are very reasonable, and the hosts are incredibly friendly and accommodating. We were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful food they served us on our wedding anniversary—home-cooked meals that truly capture the essence of Kerala cuisine. Every dish we tried was delicious! If you’re planning to visit Cochin, this is the best place to stay. We felt like we were part of their family, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend homestay; we really enjoyed the variety of dishes that were given to us, which we thoroughly enjoyed having sitting on the balcony with the church bell ringing. Shout out to Mr. Godson and his wife for making us feel at home. From the room to the food, from the view to the great hospitality, everything was just so good. I shall again visit them when I tour Kerala.

The rooms are well maintained and clean. The owner Mr Godson is an absolute gentleman. He treated us with some amazing food. I would totally recommend this place as the top homestay if you go to kumbalangi.

Just loved the experience! Mr. Godson was a great host. His cordial behaviour and hospitality was incredible. Nisha chechi's food was lovely. You also have an option of having a boat ride that traverses the beautiful backwaters of Kumbalangi and the neighbouring Alappuzha district, which is highly recommended by me. Its a two hour ride which leaves you with unforgettable memories for life! All in all, a fantastic place, which I will definitely come back to again!

Absolutely beautiful. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable, the family that own the property are so lovely, very helpful. From the moment we arrive until we left, the owners where there to help us start our stay and then there early hours of the morning to wish us a safe journey. Every morning we where welcomed with a different traditional breakfast cooked by the mother of the home, it was so tasty and nice, any requests we asked for they accomodated for. On the first day we were served a traditional dinner, and then taken on the owners private boat down the canals. The owner made some helpful suggestions of trips and sights to see. I cannot praise this place enough, it was just perfect, both location and accomodation, we will look forward to our return.
