We have visited this place multiple times and were always very happy with our stay. It is budget-friendly and an excellent place to relax. There are two stray dogs here that made my stay even more memorable since I’m a dog lover. However, during the rainy season, leeches can be an issue, so be cautious. If you're traveling with kids, exercise extra care as the location is close to a water frontage. The food has always been delicious, though the options are limited. It’s definitely worth visiting if you’re on a budget but need a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

"It was a wonderful trip, and we went there with a family of 8. Had a great time. Mr. Appu, who brought us to the trekking spot, was amazing. Very friendly and a skilled driver. It was our first time traveling by jeep to the mountain; he drove very safely, and I didn’t feel any fear. The place was breathtaking and a must-visit. The food prepared by Mr SAJIL was indescribably tasty and yummy, cooked with love and care. Customer service was fantastic, and although it was a challenging trek, they offered to buy soft drinks and snacks for us. Hats off to all the staff and especially Appu, who drove the jeep." Two days and nights of total bliss. Had come here alone. Now intend to come with family. Please contact sunil to provide you meals who deliver at home . You will not feel like leaving the property and going out to eat. The food provided is homely and tasty .

Spent couple of days with friends. The stay can't be better than this. Good place to relax with friends and family on the banks of river. Great hospitality from Sunil and Sajil. The food was excellent. Definitely will visit again.

We stayed at this amazing stay for one night. It is a very well-maintained property near a waterfall called Urulikuzhi Waterfalls. We have to cross this waterfall to reach the property. The homestay has 2 bedrooms with attached bathrooms and a kitchen with all common utensils. A dining table and fridge are also available on the property. If we want we can cook the food on our own or can contact the cook who is living nearby. They will make you homely food according to your needs. The food was delicious and of a reasonable price. Really enjoyed our stay here. kind of private waterfall feel we got. The view from the stay is amazing. A peaceful atmosphere to enjoy your weekends. Highly recommended 👌

Absolutely the best homestay in mamalakandam. Host was very responsible and took care of us very well. Situated just in front of a waterfall. Off road jeep ride to koinipara will be remembered for a long time. Food was delicious and we love everything about it. Recommended for both family as well as friends.
