Marari Arapakal beach villa

We stayed here twice it was so good. A wonderful place to stay that is close to the beach. Dominic and his family are amazing and so helpful. Great rooms, beautiful view, lots of space, clean and quiet. 100% recommended. If you are looking for a place to stay in Marari Beach, you have found the place to be.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my husband and 2 year old kid. The rooms are basic but comfortable . Balcony sitting area was cozy . Breakfast was excellent. There are total 6 rooms here (ac and non ac) . It’s 2 min walk to marari beach . Few points to improve - need more storage space for clothes , bathroom needs window which can be closed . We enjoyed the stay . Thank you.

Nice location and host (Dominique) but the price is really too expensive for the quality. The room and the bathroom were dirty and the bedsheets and beds not really comfortable. Breakfast is nice though and Dominique is a really nice host. We just had cheaper homestay and really more comfortable. We paid 3000 while the room is not worth more than 2000.

Great Homestay! Clean and 2mins walk from the beach! Dominic is really nice and will arrange rickshaw rides, boating expeditions, Ayurvedic treatments etc… for you. And to top it all off, his wife is a brilliant cook, the Kerala breakfast is top notch ! And she can prepare a great Kerala dinner served outside the room when you feel like staying in. I really recommend !

We very much enjoyed our 3-night stay at Marari Arapakal Beach Villa in early January 2019. Dominic and his father, Vincent, took very good care of us during our stay. They really made us feel at home. Dominic recently added two new rooms on the first floor, and they are very nicely done. My wife and I stayed in the beach cabin (and loved being on the beach), and our daughter stayed at the main property just 150 meters up the road. All accommodations were great - as were the meals served - and we highly recommend Mararikulam and Marari Arapakal Beach Villa to other travelers. There is a nice, clean beach to enjoy, and a few nice cafés and restaurants nearby. We plan to return to visit Dominic and family in the future!|

Location is perfect, about 100 meters from the beach, rooms are spacious and clean, and most important, Dominic is the kindest host I've ever met, very available and helpful.

We spent 3 nights with Dominic at his homestay and loved it. Clean room and bathroom, home cooked delicious dinner and great location. Dominic and his family were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Thank you to you all.||Highly recommend this homestay if you are looking to stay in Marari Beach.||The very long golden sand beach is quiet most of the day getting busier for sunset and on Saturdays. There are beds or chairs for hire but not so many that they make the beach crowded. There are a few beach cafes so there is a choice. ||There is a notice on the beach warning that the sea is dangerous, it shelves quite steeply but whilst it may not be the best for swimming there is still a lot of fun to be had in the surf.||Only downside is that, with rising popularity, there is the associated rubbish that gets left. ||Dominic told me that he and friends clean the beach on a Sunday but if this beautiful place gets more popular he may have to call in a few more to help.

I stayed approx. 2 weeks in this fairytale bungalow right on the beach... Amazing place. There is a private sand garden in front of the bungalow which contains 2 double rooms with 2 bathrooms. The owner Dominic is very kind, helpful, the breakfast is great. Dominic also has 6 double rooms at his house 100 meters from the beach. I strongly recommend.
