K-Mansion (Kallumkal Mansion)

We stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved it. The location is amazing and our room had views across the mountains and tea plantations. I could not recommend staying here more - we highly highly recommend staying here. The service was amazing and all the staff were really helpful. They booked a jeep tour for us and a hiking tour of the tea plantations, both of which were amazing. The food was so nice and the breakfast was really good. Highly recommend!

I love an A frame and the views here! The ground level and entertainment floor are beautifully designed. The dining area was spacious with plenty of seating and complimentary water. At certain hours you’ll have to be mindful of the cheeky monkeys searching the property for open windows or doors. The women’s dorm was clean and has a large desk and window for natural lighting. The toilet had a little issue flushing, but the bathroom was clean and spacious. It was nice to have tasty food available when we arrived after a long journey from fort kochi. Everyone working here was so helpful, especially recommending day trip ideas and even arranging transportation for us. Highly recommend :) Cons: the cold “jacuzzi” as they call it is just a cold pool. The weather is already chilly, so warm would be nice. Grey bedding may be easier to maintain, but I personally prefer white.

This was my favourite hostel that I've been to in all of India! It was in a great location, the views were stunning, rooms were spacious, secure, spotlessly clean and the beds were so comfortable! Possibly the highlight was the hot showers with excellent water pressure. The people were all lovely, lots of solo travellers, and the staff were so helpful in organising activities! And tje food was great too, I didn't want to leave!!

Nice and clean property with all safety measurements. One of the amazing staff I have ever experienced. Breakfast was good too. I hope they would keep the same enthusiasm.

Beautiful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. On top they have delicious food & breakfast facing the jungle. They have a dorm for 1000R/night, which is worth it if you need a change from filthy dorms, as it comes with super comfy beds and a rain shower. I was the only solo traveler when I was there, maybe it’s different when the dorm is full - meaning there was no social vibe at all. Might be important to know for fellow backpackers. There is a bus going there, but not super frequent. Reception will help out with the bus schedules though.

We (German couple, mid-thirties) stayed for three nights. The balconies of the private rooms face backwards, surrounded by jungle. Rooms are modern, clean and have comfortable beds. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Affordable and delicious dinner. Hourly public buses take you to Munnar town and back.

I stayed here with my parents for 3 nights and had an amazing experience. Staffs behavior, cleanliness, and view everything were top notch. Would definitely recommend it. It's not in Munnar city, around 15km, far from the city.

We absolutely loved our stay at K Mansion. The rooms were gorgeous. Played pool, used the jacuzzi. Hotel food was actually also really nice, especially the breakfast. The staff went out of their way to help us however they could and were so friendly.
