Petals Homestay

We were group of four friends stayed here where the room and restroom was very clean and well maintained, although the home stay looks small but the room was very well comfortable for four adults. Mr. Mani bro was really a genuine person who takes care of the every guest in a good way. If your looking for a stay in a affordable budget in munnar city along with comfortable stay then this petals homestay would be our strong suggestion.

Very good experience, especially the hospitality of the Tamil caretaker brother. In town, Budget friendly, neat and good internal set up including TV and wifi. Parking may be issue but manageable for two wheelers. If you are friends of 4, this may suit you. Cleanliness, I am not sure but atleast there is no odour and notable dirt.

Petals homestay is located exactly as shown on Google maps, accessibility is a plus point, walking distance to the main town bus stand, close to the market area, shopping and eateries, yet it's away from all the noise and disturbance. No availability of food here, it's a small homestay and they don't have a restaurant . Its perfectly suitable for couples and a group of peace loving friends. (not a party place) The rooms are newly furnished, very neat and clean with all the essential amenities . They have an extra bed in addition to the double bed but don't have Fan/Ac installed in the room and personally I felt it is not required either . Rooms had TV, table and chairs, a closet, spacious washroom with a large mirror, availability of hot water 24*7. The WiFi network was good. There is a guy/caretaker named Mani, who is hospitable and available at the property in case any assistance is required, or he can also be contacted over a call if he's not around. Overall It was a nice stay for 5Nights. No issues, No complaints at all, so we are coming for the second time again ..hopefully soon. Highly satisfied 👍 Highly Recommended! Thank You.

We loved every thing this home stay. Rooms were clean, beds were extremely comfortable. Highly recommended it. The manager is very good person. Nice place.nice room .neat and clean. 24 hrs hot water facility and free high speed WI-FI..... always good home stay...🥰

Everything was good but the only demerit is the absence of fan..Even though it's a cold regional area still sometimes requires a fan in the mid noon times of a day.If not a proper fan atleast they can arrange a small table fan...And hoping they may add few facilities as it would greatly enhance our stay experience.

A very good, neatly maintained, budget friendly stay in Munnar - suggesting to all who look out for safe stay with family. I would say the owner is very helpful & supportive with his family. Given us hot water for drinking whenever required - felt like a homely stay. We spent 3 days in Petals Homestay along with my family during this New Year 2022, we all loved staying there without any hassles. The only negative I could say is regarding car parking which has to be done on opposite road side of the stay - but thats not much an issue.

5/5 rating is the best suitable for Petals Homestay. Thank you Abraham (homestay rooms owner) for such delight and all good rooms for stay. This pure heart man will be with us for any things, from local shopping to site recommendations. I strongly recommend petal home stays to anyone off to Munnar.

A decent place to stay with good cleanliness that too in reasonable budget. The owner and caretaker of this property Abraham Varghese (popularly known to most of the locals in the town as 'Sibu') is such a matured and honest person who guides you how to visit areas in short time if you have only limited time in town. If I visit Munnar again then this only will be my first option for stay. You can completely trust and rely on this man regarding anything like local purchases, advices regarding site seeing etc.. or any genuine need he will be there..
