The location was amazing, The view and the ambiance of the cottage were amazing, and The room, balcony, and the food were amazing, Amazing stay with an amazing view of hills, we could experience Clouds kissing us, could spend the whole day just seeing at view. Breakfast and Dinner were delicious, Food was always prepared fresh by the Chef. We loved the garden and the open dining. We loved everything about this place and OH!! YOU SUNIL SIR, you are one of the best. Overall, everything was great. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

Had an amazing experience at the Ranger Woods. The rooms are spacious, service is really nice.- with complimentary bread, cheese, etc. The superior bathroom even has a bathtub. |The owner is a really nice guy- he got us fresh fruits both morning and evening. The food also while tasted okay but they charge at minimal price which is genuine thing- vs if you see in other hotels that are away from central market they charge a bomb because they know people will have to eat there instead of going at night far away in hilly areas. |The location is serene and just 200m walk you will have the tea plantation all to yourself- get up in the morning and spend time there without ANY CROWD- trust me best thing ever. For this pristine location - the hotel is 7km away from the market which may or may not be suitable for all. But the owner helps in arranging the commute so that you don't have to worry about it.

I had a wonderful experience with my family in ranger woods. Mr. Sunil was a great person. Nice hospitality. If I am doing another trip to Munnar will definitely choose this place.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Munnar woods resort is really a good reasonable option and a romantic place for family and honeymooners visit. It was a bit hectic drive for us as we travel from Ooty to Munnar. After coming here, we were so much relaxed by the scenic beauty in and around resort. It was a raining day and we were fascinated with rain showers and a Mistic day. ||||The cottage offered to us was really clean and comfortable. The only thing which surprised me over here was no Television. My daughter really missed it over there. But the resort has one amusement park which kept her busy. I personally enjoyed coffee of in resort's coffee shop. A hot coffee on such a rainy day. ||||The resort has its own restaurant, as I am a bit foody, I tried a few new varieties out here. Unfortunately, resorts food didnt open up my taste buds. The food is good but not that great.

When we arrived at Ranger Woods, we weren't expecting much from the place. The photos of the property don't do much justice. And we were pleasantly surprised! The room we stayed in overlooks the lush green forest at the back and the long glass windows provide an amazing view. When it rains, the experience is something else altogether!||||The room is massive and done up very well with a sitting as well as a dressing area. The bathroom was very clean and had a well-maintained tub. If you are finicky about cleanliness like I am, you'll know how important it is to have a clean bathroom when travelling.||||The room opens up to a big verandah that overlooks the road and the small garden in front. In the evenings, you can hear nothing but the crickets and birds. The food is sumptuous. The lady who runs the place is a fabulous cook and each day there, we tried out a new meal and not once were we disappointed. ||||The highlight of my trip to Munnar was a walk around the homestay. It has winding roads around the lush green tea bushes. In the distant, you can see misty hills and beautiful homes tucked amidst them. The air is crisp and mist fills the air around you. Don't miss out on the walk.

Located in a calm and serene place, you'd instantly fall in love with this homestay. It wont be an exaggeration if I say they have one of the best services on offer. It wont be fair to compare the food and the room, as it is usually perspective, and may differ from person to person. From our perspective, food and stay were one of the best. If you might need any additional services (mostly, you won't be needing any, as you'll be served to the brim of their capacity, which itself is more), you can rest assured of it being taken care by the owner directly. Overall, a great place, great view, great stay, and more than that, great experience.

It was a long pending trip to Munnar and we finally did it!!! The stay at Ranger Woods a home away from home. Hospitality was fantastic with cozy rooms, delicious food and friendly hosts. The location was wonderful which gives a feeling of living in the middle of thick forest. Not very expensive. Thanks to Sunil, his mom and all his support staff for making our trip a memorable one.

We stayed here on 2December for 1 njght. The day I first called Mr Sunil to inquire about his home stay which was a month back from the trip, He provided me all sorts of tips for the trip and since then I used to get constant advice of how should I plan my trip which really helped me a lot.He even arranged cab n driver for us (Mr Aby ), who was also just too good like him.This is a calm home on the pothemadu hill surrounded by cardmom plantations.The Superior room is quite spacious and well equipped with fridge, kettle, cups and plates. Bathroom was clean with tub and hot water.We woke up in the morning with chirping of birds and had south Indian Breakfast which was delicious.Really had a a peaceful stay!!
