Rooms are easy to reach from center. Good rooms. Family friendly. Very good service as owner is the one who's taking care of the place personally. Car parking is available. First floor rooms are better than the ones which are below. Home like foods are available nearby. Not for friends who need a big room or cottage like environment to stay together for now(Heard that their cottage would resume soon). Overall highly recommended 👍👍

Best budgeted accommodation out there. The room was clean and well maintained. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Had ample and safe parking space. Homemade Kerala style food was provided for a reasonable price. Must try if your visiting here. Definitely recommended if your looking for a budgeted stay near the town.

We stayed here for two nights and rooms are very comfortable, clean, hygiene and well insulated. It is located near Munnar main bazaar. Premises have car parking facility. Owner really takes care of visitors and guides us in all aspects. We will plan our next stay here in future. Thanks for the owner.

Affordable place to stay in a prime location in Munnar. The owner was very kind, friendly and welcoming. He and his family made sure we had a comfortable stay and suggested us places to visit as we were clueless during the trip. The parking is within property and is closed at night, so high security for vehicles. Highly recommend for the care they show towards their customers and cleanliness of the rooms.

Very well maintained rooms for family. My friend has referred this one. Now, this is my regular trip room. Very supportive owner. It's near to munnar City, so the location is also good. We enjoyed this trip with our family.

The hotel is 1km from Munnar central. The way to the hotel is narrow only one vehicle can pass through. Only 4 cars can be parked at a time. The parking space is congested. When compared to the booking price the room is not worth it. Small congested room. The room was neat and clean. Food is not available here.

We had booked the place after looking at the Google reviews and the place did not disappoint. Mr. Vijay is a very warm, friendly host who is eager to make the guests' stay as comfortable as possible. We didn't know it ahead of time but Mr. Vijay can help book motorbikes or cabs well-in-advance before your arrival, if you need a personal vehicle to commute around Munnar. He has a trusted network within Munnar residents' association and helped us connect to two well-behaved and very nice and helpful auto-drivers through his friend. The rooms were basic but well-ventilated and equipped with hot running water, a TV and basic toiletries. Meals are not served at the premises but there is a small breakfast stall that opens quite early, near to the homestay. As the house is in the residential block, it is located a little inside from the main Munnar bus station (~km away from Saravana Bhavan) but quiet area. The road leading to the house is quite steep so a vehicle might be better for individuals with tender knees. There is parking space for at least 4-5 cars in the building compound. We had a comfortable stay at Gokulam Holiday home and would be recommending to our friends and will definitely consider staying again on our next visit.
