Nila Home Stay at Rosemala, Kollam Dist, Kerala

We came here for 1 night stay , ended up staying for 2 nights … the rooms are clean , spacious has all the utensils.. this place is situated right below the view point. Last but not least a warm , welcoming host.

Nila Homestay at Rose Mala is an excellent facility that offers both boarding and lodging at very reasonable rates. The food provided is quite good, though we have the option to do self-cooking. The property also has a young energetic local guide who gladly takes you through the not much explored forest pathways, providing a real feel of "walk in the wilderness". The drive to the property from Kollam Shenkottai road is quite enjoyable and exciting too. If you are fortunate, expect animal sightings, as some part of the journey is through dense forests. Overall, a trip to Rosemala and one or two days overnight stay/ camping at Nila Homestays will fill your mind with the all pervading serenity around. Good stay. Good food. Good people around indeed! Located on top of Rosemala, Nila Home stay puts you in a scintillating and cool atmosphere. Nithin, who is the care taker there gives you a friendly and homely feeling. If you are planning for a day stay, this place is highly recommended and since it is an off road majority of the journey from main road till Rosemala, bikes are more preferred and you can avail jeep facility as well from main road

I highly recommend visiting this home stay. If you are the skilled driver and you have good suv car take that 10kms drive or rent a jeep from Thenmala. Self cooking is available they got all the utensils.
