GAVI GATE HOME STAY

Stayed in this place for my sabarimala trip. Comfy place makes you feel at home. The couple who run this place are so humble and trustworthy. Food is delicious and homely. We had to leave early and were sceptical to ask them but when we informed them about our plans they immediately told us food will be served. Location is awesome with a river flowing along the boundary Best thing is if you are planning for sabarimala then go ahead to stay here. The owner Mr vijay arranged for the rituals in a very near by temple and irumudi . He came along with us early in the morning and made sure everything was hassle free. People coming to sabarimala from a long distance i can say for sure this is the best option you van book your stay here and inform them about the date and time . You need not bring anything for the kettumuru pooja. Everything is arranged by them. Thanks vijay sir and madam for making our trip memorable.

Recently revisited this homestay for the second time, and it continues to exceed expectations. The warmth and friendliness of the hosts make it feel like a home away from home. The views, with a flowing river nearby, add to the charm. The house is spotlessly clean, and the personalized Keralian dishes were a delightful touch. The night drive led by the Mr Vijayan sir, where we encountered elephants, was a memorable highlight. Looking forward to stay for a month in future. Highly recommend this homestay for a comfortable and welcoming experience Also, it is ideally located for ayyappa devotees and gavi tourists with near dharma sastha ayyappaTemple.

This place is very close to Gavi forest check post. It is maintained by lovely family. Rooms are very spaciously and very clean. The home stay is surrounded by lush green mountains. Mountain river flowing on the backyard of this bungalow. Guest will have private access to the river via stairs and they can enjoy the water. We stayed for one day as we wanted to go via Gavi forest. Aunt who maintain this facility arrange pass for us well in advance. She served very delicious food. I would highly recommend this facility if you are going to either Sabrimala or Gavi

I am happy to give a 5 star rating for the experience we had at Gavi Gate Homestay. As I was accompanied with my colleague who is a foreigner, it was of importance for me to give him the best time, especially since he is a guest to my native place. He had a wonderful experience at the homestay especially with the care taken by the host to provide the best experience during our stay. The food was amazing and there is nothing more than a big recommendation from our side based on our experience for this wonderful honestay and people.
