Our stay was absolutely wonderful, and it was the perfect place for a family and also friends getaway! The experience was nothing short of spectacular. From the comfortable and luxurious accommodation to the seamless service, everything exceeded our expectations. There was no issue with water scarcity, and every detail was impeccable. A heartfelt thank you to Jeena for providing us with such a remarkable accommodation and for her outstanding assistance throughout our vacation. Her dedication and warmth truly made our stay extraordinary. We can’t wait to return!

Good Location and Good Service but room was not maintained well, was not clean. Care taker was very helpful . It was cheaper rate, so no complaints.

Not at all suggested! It was our second day in Wayanad and we hadn’t pre booked our stay for the day. As we were already late we got this place in a hurry because the pictures looked very nice. Agoda was showing 880Rs per night they asked at 1000rs since other places we saw charged more than 2.5k for wooden huts we were happy They have very few or no guests at all even in the busy season and because no one is using the property may be I had itching and rashes on skin in the bamboo hut. It was shaking badly washroom is too small and not at all good and hot water is available only on request washroom was stinking badly I was literally in tears When we informed about skin rashes and asked for another room Their another property again with minimal infrastructure which showed 1800 on Agoda for 3 rooms they asked 2000rs per room taking advantage of our situation finally we agreed at 1500rs Hot water was given for one person only after asking repeatedly No basic facilities not even a soap or a towel is given , even the bucket for taking bath is so tiny. I was seeing their reviews and everywhere they have mentioned that they are charging 500 rs per head only so they can’t give more facilities. Atleast they could keep minimal facilities .. other place I stayed for previous night costed 600rs per day which had washrooms water bottles toilet seats everything sanitized and sealed, drinking water, toiletries towels everything provided w . And money was not only my concern as I had already paid them 1000rs when Agoda showed 880rs While checking out owner was very much concerned about the balance 500rs for changing our room. Didn’t even bother to ask a word about our experience I called the daughter, since she had talked the entire time just to say a bye without complaining as previous night while checking in she had talked so nicely I just wanted to leave on a good note .. she didn’t even bother to step out of her house , only asked to send the balance amount and ended the call ! Only people needing budget stays can look for it but then similar price there are many other with better facilities which the owner might not have realised so far !

Around Johns Villa(Johns Homestays), finding food within a 5 km radius is impossible, even basic comforts like coffee and tea are unavailable. The ceiling fans are positioned too close to the ceiling, rendering them ineffective despite running. Enduring the summer heat in Wayanad without air conditioning is incredibly challenging, especially when even the fans provide little relief. Despite being initially drawn by the appealing pictures of John Villa, one would hesitate to return due to the stark contrast between the attractive images and the reality of the accommodations. Additionally, the bathroom emits a foul odor, further detracting from the overall experience. 5000/- for two days is not worth
