We loved our stay here. We were in Kerala for a friend's wedding and wanted to stay away from the hustle bustle of main town Thrissur. This place seemed perfect. We were fortunate to be the only guests here and Dr. Sukumar was a great host. The proximity to the beach and the tastefully designed home are the best things about this place. We had driven down so transport and visiting neadby places wasnt much of an issue for us. It would be good to check with the host about availability of Taxis in case you don't plan to drive down. Food can be ordered from a nearby restaurant in case you want something specific. Overall a great place to visit if you want to have a super peaceful trip.

This was a great experience. A beautiful and unique house with incredible hospitality. The location is a quiet spot close to the beach. Not far from Thrissur, and nice to get back to after a busy day at a temple festival. Very comfortable and clean accommodation with a lovely little garden. The family was so welcoming and helpful, looking after us and our driver and even taking us to a family party! Nothing was too much trouble. It felt like a real home from home. Great food and lots of it. Highly recommended - you won't find anywhere else quite like it.

I, Tina Swindle am pleased to tell you I had a beautiful stay at Sukumara Homestay for two weeks. Two years ago I had breast cancer. I live in California and life has been stressful. At Sukamra Homestay I found peace. I had perfect facilities and loving care every day, with three organic healthy meals a day with fresh juices. I had room cleaning an laundry service everyday. Air conditioning, WiFi, and plug adapters for my American devices. I call this place, owned by this loving beautiful family, a spiritual injection and I promise you it will touch your heart and you will never forget it. The beauty of their knowledge, intelligence and coping skills is what we all would like to have. The owner is a medical doctor and a specialist in homeopathic medicine.

Great place to spend your vacations and enjoy the pristine serenity of the shoreline. During night the sea usually seems so wild…… but she was so beautiful when the moonlight started shining on the ocean waves. My children were so happy to play in the softy sand till mid night. This is first time I could spent a fascinating night, till midnight, in the seashore. Thanks to “Sukumara Homestay” for providing all facilities. This is a beach resort owned by Dr. Deepu Sukumar. The construction of the building is a perfect blending of modernization and nature loving. The building is constructed by clay and bamboo reinforcement - without using cement and steel, but all modern amenities are provided.

Was there last weekend, with a friend and family. Two bedrooms,one living and a lot of space for kids to play around, all in the privacy of a Home stay; The beach is a sprint away, with direct view of the sea from the first floor room. The food was very ethnic and homely; Especially the sardine Tawa fry with green peppers , Kappa /Meen !||||Very peaceful in the evenings and the star lit sky over teh sea was atreat, with little else to distrub us!!

This Home stay at Trichur is a good option for a happy stay near the beach, particularly if you need a little more privacy. The rooms are clean and have a reasonable size and the same goes for the bathroom, but the best about the Beach Hotel is it's location and the views.||In my previous stays I have stayed in some Sea Hotels, within the same standard and also a good option, but this Beach Home stay has better rooms and toilets with an awesome ambiance all around.

I went with my family and had a wonderful time.Not very expensive compared to the hospitality shown.The best part about this place is its location and no crowds.Ambience and hospitality matches the sorroundings.Will definitely return back soon.
