On The Rocks - Homestay in Vagamon

Great location and the view from the cottage is awesome. It's located about 80 m from the road. They will take us in their vehicle to the cottage since we need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to reach the cottage. Property is very well maintained. Cleanliness is top notch. Also special mentioning to the care taker Mr. Rashiq who will ensure that our stay becomes a memorable one.

This place is amazing. It's on a hill top and is a private property, so no issue of silence after 10pm like other properties. During the night, the clouds will settle down at the property level and you get to experience mist. The caretaker Rashik is a gem of a person. He lives nearby and is always available. He is a great cook and we enjoyed everything he made, even Dal, which we requested, not knowing it would be so good. He offered to take us to nearby waterfalls and valley which was an afternoon well spent. The only way to reach here is by his 4x4. You need to park your vehicle at the bottom of the hill and then it's about 4-5mins uphill rocky drive. It sounds like a hassle but it was fun. The place is best suited for 4 people, but can accommodate 6. I would definitely refer this place to whoever is planning to visit Vagamon.

It is a bit late for review. We were there during June 2024. The caretaker Mr. Rashiq was very obliging and helpful. Once he knew we are pure vegetarians, he made efforts to get us good veg food. The service and maintenance of the place are very good. He took us to show us nearby places in his jeep. Those places were memorable. Thank you Rashiq.

A very well maintained and well located affordable value for money home stay. The stay was made memorable by Mr Rashik who took great care of us. Took us on a Jeep Safari to virgin parts of vagamon .. private water falls.. he makes great videos and weaves memories.. Great place to visit ..

We had an incredible stay at On the Rocks! The caretaker, my dear friend Rashik, was outstanding and ensured everything was perfect. The food was delicious, and the jeep safari and waterfall trips were unforgettable. We spent wonderful days here and can't thank Rashik enough for making it such a fantastic experience. Looking forward to visiting again!

On the Rocks is a hidden gem in Vagamon. Rashik bro, the caretaker is such a great person to hang out with. We were a group of 7 and he was literally the 8th member. The property itself provides great privacy, stunning facilities and great views in all directions. The place is well maintained, clean and is perfect for a getaway with family or friends. You can be rest assured that Rashik and his family will go the extra mile to make sure your group feels right at home.

We had an amazing stay at On the Rocks. If you are looking for a private, peaceful and a quiet hideout then this place is for you!! We were welcomed by a wonderful and enthusiastic host, Mr Rashiq, who made us feel at home. True to it's name, the home is located on a steep Rocky road and Rashiq took us on a fun jeep ride to reach the location. Highlight- Jeep Safari to hidden waterfalls and forest areas. The entire experience was such a thrill. Things we loved- Home cooked meals, location and amenities. Thank you Rashiq for your hospitality and we will definitely visit again :)
