Mumulu Inn

Absolute gem! Amrut and his wife Praseeta (hope I spelled that right) were incredible hosts, and their house is beautiful, comfortable, and inviting. We stayed there for 5 days and loved every minute of it. The location is on a green and quiet street close to various points of access to the beach and lovely cafes. The rooms are beautifully designed and freshly renovated. They're clean, modern, and comfortable with good AC, fan, hot water, wifi, linen, and towels. Praseeta made delicious and diverse breakfasts, and Amrut helped us with everything we needed, bike rentals, laundry, recommendations, etc. Everything was perfect. Can't wait to come back!

Situated away from the crowded areas of Varkala, this homestay is in a very calm place near a big constructed pond. The rooms were neat attached with well maintained bathrooms and seperate geysers. My family was super happy with the stay and the hosts treated us well. Cliff, beach etc are within 2-3 kms from this stay. Parking for 3 cars in the compound. Kitchen facility also available and was useful for prepping meals for infants and small kids. Wifi available. Also good for business stays.

Stayed here with my 1 year old baby. Very good place to stay. Rooms are very neat and the hosts are super friendly. Had a pleasant stay without any discomfort. If you wish to cook for your baby kitchen is also accessible. I would recommend this place to every mommies out there.

Beautiful place with clean rooms. And we can walk around and see 2 kinds of beaches. One is calm type and neat one with sunset view at its best. And good cafes are there. And another beach nearby with water sports. And rooms are neat with a huge bathroom. And well maintained place. And those hosts are really friendly and they keep every place neat and clean. Couldn't have food from them. Because of time constraint. But such a calm and nice place to stay with homely environment.

Very clean and nice rooms! The hosts are the sweetest people in the world, sharing all kinds of stories about the neighborhood and India. The house is being renovated into perfection still - but the rooms downstairs serve as a nice hide away from the hot beach (5 mins walk)☀️

Homestay run by a family. Chose Deluxe Double Room for the stay. I dint see the host while check-in. Newly built room. Hence fresh and clean (10Jan24). Clean and Neat bed, linen and towels. Spacious with good wardrobe and dressing table. No TV, Hot kettle, dental kit etc. Too expensive for 5.5k!
