Lovely place to stay. Housekeeper was very kind. Had a good chat with him. Rooms were clean, wifi was fast. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils. The private beach nearby was cherry on top.

My stay at Red Rose Guesthouse near Aaliyirakkam Beach in Varkala was simply wonderful. The property offered everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. The highlight was the easily accessible secluded beach, perfect for serene walks and moments of tranquility. The ambiance of the property, including the common areas and the lush greenery surrounding it, added to the peaceful atmosphere. The well equipped kitchen had a kettle, refrigerator, a gas stove and utensils, along with tea/coffee supplies. Moreover, the charges were incredibly value for money, especially considering the option for air conditioning at a nominal extra cost. Deepa and her family were exceptional hosts, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. They assisted me in arranging auto-rickshaws for sightseeing, and even helped with transportation to the railway station. A one way trip to North Cliff or Station is 100-150 from here. The location also proved convenient, with a few restaurants within walking distance, and service by Zomato/Swiggy, offering added convenience for meals. I wholeheartedly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a serene and comfortable experience near Aaliyirakkam Beach. I'm already looking forward to returning for another stay. Thank you for the fantastic hospitality!

The rooms on the second floor are well lit however ground floor may seem gloomy Host is wonderful and super helpful. I stayed here for 5 days in July and the house is comfortable to stay with basic amenities. Only con is cleaning and no geyser in washrooms: They will not be able to provide any help for cleaning and Deepa the host does it all herself. Our house was cleaned once during our 5 day long stay. Utensils and all have to be cleaned by ourselves, which became too much as a tourist.

We were warmly welcomed as part of a family reunion and 4 days full board our hostess showered us with delicate attentions, the little house in the middle of the mini jungle and adorable, however, provide mosquito repellent if you are staying in May, I strongly recommend this establishment

This is the most amazing home stay I have ever experienced. Deepa was an amazing host and was very friendly. The whole experience with the stay was fabulous. We had access to the beach by just 5 min walk from the home. I personally would recommend you to stay here if you ever visit varkala
