Wind Chimes Ville

It was a great stay. Specially the landscape which we are able to see was see commendable. The price is little more in the off season but that will not affect you as the host and place is superb. Will be a definite stay for next trip also.

Excellent location,excellent care taken by owner,awesome stay for a group of friends looking for a stay away from all the hustle amidst nature! Campfire,barbeque everything was arranged for us,owner stayed and made sure everything was arranged for us in the right way! Food options available close by,complementary breakfast is provided

A must place to visit. Property location, maintenance, surrounding is superb 😄 Best place for those who are looking for some peace. If you love to be a part of greenery then this is for u. Staffs are so good and caring...they are unique in their own way

View is good but kitchen doesn't have minimum utensils. No care taker is a big minus. Only food is made by owner's friend but quality is not at all good. People from North India, it's a big NO.

No power back up. The host didn't inform us about it. Caretaker just handed us 4 candles for the night. We travelled with a baby and a kid. It was very difficult the 21 hours that we did spend there. Completely spoiled our holiday. We cut short and returned back to Bangalore, the kids were so harrassed. Please check thoroughly about basic amenities before going there.

I will never suggest this place to stay. Very bad experience.They don't have minimum things in the home stay. They don't have water to drink, no plates, no glasses and the caretaker is least bothered about all this. His phone will be always not reachable and he don't even come and speak to you. He charged us more than what is was showing in the website for 4 people. They have a inverter which can give power backup only for 3 to 4 hours. We did not get hot water due to that power cut. There is no food served or Shyam who is the caretaker has never enquired about our food and requirements. He said he will arrange campfire but he ignored. Such a bad hospitality i had never seen.

I would suggest this place to people who are looking to get peace and calm out of their holidays. Yes this is located in a place where you need to travel 5-6km to get bottled water or packed food. But the view out of your windows and the balcony just makes up for it. The owner of this property will communicate with you over phone and you might never get to face him but the caretaker of the property "Shyam" will take care of the rest of the things. Do note that shyam is a Tamil speaker and you if you don't know how to speak Tamil you might face a communication gap. Although if you know a few phrases in tamil and can understand a bit of it then you can make do with it along with a bit of hand gestures. That's how nice shyam was. He lives nearby the property and if you are nice enough to him he might offer you fruits from his garden as well. Speaking of food options, you've got to inform the owner or shyam if you are opting for it 2-3 hrs before each meal and he will cook it for you. Please be specific of what you want to eat and what not. The food is nice and homely. If you are not into Malabar style cooked food then there is a kitchenette that you can use to cook for yourself. There is an inverter based power backup. Don't expect it to run the TVs or Geysers but it's good to save you from any hassles during frequent power cuts. Do remember to collect your government ID that you will submit with Shyam during the course of your stay. I forgot to collect it back while checking out. The owner of the property Navneeth Nair has assured me that he will get it mailed to me. Will update this review when I have received it :p ================= Update: He mailed it to me and followed up as well to make sure that I have received. Wholesome experience!! Do consider this place.
