Bhoomitra Lake Resort

A great place to unwind and feel one with nature. This sweet abode is situated very close to the cliff yet away from the touristy bustle of Varkala. Very comfortable and warm place that is easily accessible by car and has enough parking space. For me the highlight was the chance to get to interact with the local people, know about their culture, custom and offcourse taste the delicious local cuisines. A good time well spent ❤️

we had a great time at jishnu's place. authentic experience within a local area, calm and layed back but only about 15 min drive to the more touristy varkala beach with a motorbike. beautiful lake and amazing natural environment just in front of the doorstep. jishnu and his family and property manager are really welcoming and friendly and were super helpful with everything we needed. communication was spot on. would definitely recommend and hopefully return again soon.

An amazing place at an amazing location. The theme is heritage type and is very peaceful. All the resort staff are very attentive and friendly.We found our bed to be very comfortable and our rooms were very spacious, with everything we needed. We would happily recommend the place to our friends and we will visit again.

Just came back from two days at Bhoomitra! We had an amazing experience and we’re pleasantly surprised by the clean and quaint home. The energy was simple, fresh and uplifting. The silence and privacy are profound and the nature wraps around you to crate a magical cocoon. Gokul and his family were happy and helpful and responded quickly to all of our needs and concerns. We would recommend to any one who wants to see the quiet side of Varkala and have a nice and peaceful refuge in the forest. John and Atsumi

Best stay around a beautiful scenery. I had a wonderful experience and the service they provided was beyond expectation. Spacious rooms and the cleanliness was something that should be appreciated. I would love to recommend this lovely place😍

Outstanding!! Extremely friendly and helpful staff. In addition to the excellent accommodation and lovely resort with all the comforts of home. Great location and enjoyed the stay here, in fact we wanted to stay longer.

Great private accommodation in nature, very quiet and far from the buzz of Varkala beach. With a scooty, it only takes you 15 min to Varkala.
