Guruvayur Homestay

We have booked a room for one night. Unfortunately the room was not conform on what presented in Google Photos, we were given a nearby place to stay. The bed was full of acariens, very hard to sleep on. The room wasn’t cleaned before our arrival, no hygiene. We weren’t able to sleep. The experience was very bad. We have already informed the owner of this situation.

Excellent rooms, really good service. Great place for family get together and family functions. They also have food and sadhya options; good quality homely food in affordable prices. Great choice of stay.

Had a really good experience,villa was really neat so calm and pleasant looking place,staff and owners are really friendly,rooms are really clean and neat,must stay villa for family and friends get together, temple also nearby to visit

The place is really good. They provide space to play football, basketball etc. Pool is also good. Their service was excellent. Someone was always available on call. Sreekumar did an excellent job coordinating everything. Rooms are also spacious.

We stayed at Guruvayur Homestay on 21-02-2026 while attending a wedding function, and I am writing to formally express our deep dissatisfaction with the treatment we received. A man who introduced himself as the manager behaved in an extremely rude and disrespectful manner. His tone and attitude were insulting, and his behavior was completely unacceptable for someone representing your property. Instead of making guests feel welcomed, he created unnecessary tension and discomfort during what was meant to be a joyful family occasion. Because of this incident, the entire mood of our function was affected. Even now, when we think about the wedding, the unpleasant interaction with your staff comes to mind. This is not something any guest should experience. You have clearly invested significant money and effort into your property, but such unprofessional and inappropriate behavior from staff seriously damages your reputation. I strongly urge you to look into this matter and take corrective action to ensure that no other family has to go through a similar experience. We expected basic courtesy and respect unfortunately, we did not receive it.
