Silvertrails Homestay

Our recent stay at Silvertrails homestay was an enjoyable experience. Located near Kalpetta, it has the best of both worlds, being near to the town and surrounded by nature. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff were courteous, and asked for feedback from time to time while catering to our needs. The meals were tasty with the right balance of spices, and not too oily. Extremely friendly for kids and adults alike, the indoor (carrom, chess) and outdoor games (badminton) were a good pass time. The entire place is scenic and peaceful. Highly recommended for a vacation. The owner, Mr. Tibin, was polite and friendly, and ensured that our stay was comfortable.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Highly recommended for slow travellers looking to unwind amidst nature. The calming views, soothing sounds of birds, and delicious Kerala food prepared by the in-house chef made our experience truly memorable. Although the bungalow has only one floor, it's built at an elevation, giving the balcony a wonderful treehouse-like feel surrounded by greenery. The rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and games room were all exceptionally clean and very well maintained. A special mention to Tibin, who is an incredibly warm and welcoming host. He takes genuine interest in ensuring every guest has a comfortable stay and personally coordinates every request with the staff. He also took us on a fascinating plantation tour, explaining the coffee cultivation lifecycle and the diverse mixed farming practiced here, including mango, jackfruit, arecanut, coconut, mangosteen, pepper, bamboo, and the irrigation ponds that sustain the estate. What stood out the most was his deep respect for nature and sustainable farming. His passion for preserving the ecosystem is evident in every conversation and every corner of the property.

Our stay in Wayanad was truly memorable, and a big part of that was thanks to this wonderful homestay. Nestled in the middle of a beautiful plantation, the property is incredibly peaceful, aesthetic, and feels just like a home away from home. The location is perfect, as it is centrally located and provides easy access to most of Wayanad's major tourist attractions. This made traveling around very convenient and saved us a lot of time. What made our experience exceptional was the host's hospitality. He went above and beyond to help us throughout our trip, arranging autos and cabs, helping us plan our itinerary, and always being available whenever we needed assistance. His warmth and genuine care made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. The home-cooked food was absolutely delicious and added a special touch to our stay. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Wayanad and would love to stay here again on my next visit.

We had an amazing stay at Silver Trails Resort. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered a wonderful atmosphere. A special thanks to Chef Purushothaman whose delicious food made our stay even more memorable. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great care. His hospitality and attention to detail truly stood out. The entire staff was friendly, courteous, and always willing to help. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Silver Trails Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with excellent food and warm hospitality. We look forward to visiting again!

A fantastic place for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature. The property is beautifully maintained, the rooms are spotless, and the home-style Kerala food prepared by the in-house chef, Purushottam, was absolutely delicious. Tibin is a wonderful host who goes the extra mile to make every guest feel at home. The plantation walk with him was a memorable experience. A special mention to Puttana, the all-in-one expert who seems to do everything with a smile and keeps the place running effortlessly. The warmth of the people here is what truly makes this stay special. Highly recommended!
