Stayed at Kaayal Homestay with my friends and had a really good experience. The place was clean, peaceful, and well maintained. The view of the lake was absolutely beautiful and made the stay even more special. The hospitality was great too. Highly recommended!

Had an incredible stay at Kaayal. The location right on the backwaters is stunning, especially during sunset. The staff was extremely hospitable and made sure every detail was taken care of. Clean rooms, great food, and a very calm atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Kerala!

We had booked this place for a function and the treatment from the management was disappointing. They know that the property has an electricity issue which they didn't disclose. When the function was about to start there's no power and the AC didn't work throughout. They could've solved it by providing a generator, but wanted to milk the guest and quoted an absurd amount. On top of that, they don't have a good rapport with the neighbours. Now that's issue two. The third is there is no parking. You will be forced to park on the road side and walk about 300mts to the property. Not really inclusive for persons with disability. Only good thing there is, are the photos on Google. Hopefully the folks running this place make peace with the neighbours, fix the god damn electricity issue, and solve the parking for the guests. (To the management)Or you can focus on increasing the rating just on Google reviews and not focus on your core problems.

Recently had a friends meetup there. The property looked so great and pretty spacious. Had a mini pool facility too. Also loved the afternoon time there by the lake side ❤️✨. Anyone looking space for a get-together or mini function, I would recommend this spot.
