The Blue Sky, Alibaug

The Rooms are neat and clean. They have a beautiful swimming pool. The food is great. Some things that need improvement : 1. Need a wardrobe to keep clothes which was a major miss. Storage space is less. 2. Couple room is a bit compact in size. 3. Also we stayed on the 2nd floor. There is no lift so walking up and down is a challenge always with a small Kid.

I had a wonderful stay! The rooms were spotless and completely free of any insects, making for a very comfortable experience. The highlight was the food—it felt homemade and was freshly prepared to order. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and I really appreciated the convenience of having an EV charging facility on-site. Highly recommend!

Disappointing Experience at The Blue Sky Resort, Alibaug I recently stayed at The Blue Sky Resort in Alibaug with my friends, and unfortunately, it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. Despite the good amount of charges, the resort failed to deliver on even the basic standards of service and hospitality. • Service Quality: The service was subpar with no room service available, which is surprising given the premium pricing. • Ambience: The property lacked any charm or ambience that would justify the steep rates. • Food: The food charges were exorbitant, yet the quality, quantity, and taste were extremely poor—far below acceptable standards. • Cleanliness: The swimming pool was not cleaned, which was a major letdown. • Rooms: The rooms were far from impressive and not worth the price we paid. On top of this, the resort seemed to add unnecessary itemized charges, further inflating the bill. Overall, my friends and I were deeply dissatisfied with our stay. I would strongly recommend looking for better options in Alibaug if you’re planning a trip. The Blue Sky Resort does not offer value for money and fails to meet basic expectations.

We booked this place at very last moment and reached next day during afternoon. It lives upto their tagline "Quaint & Tranquil Stays". No disturbance even if other rooms were occupied. Pool was cool and clean. Backyard sitting is really soothing and time can be well spent with your loved ones. You can even enjoy your drinks and meals here. Varsoli beach is just a 10-15 minutes walking distance from the old country side gullies. All the food that we ordered was delicious with good portions. You should definitely visit this property and experience it yourself.

The management operates this property more like a rigid institution than a place of relaxation. Upon arrival, guests are given a list of strict rules to follow. For instance, dinner orders must be placed by 6 PM for the food which is served no earlier than 9 PM. Meals are not served in the rooms; guests are required to stop whatever they’re doing and head to the dining area to eat before 9:30 pm. We had to plead to get party snacks delivered to our room. The food options are limited, and ordering from outside is prohibited, leaving guests with no choice but to consume the overpriced in-house meals. Breakfast consists of just tea and bread with butter, which was subpar and involved a long wait. The rooms lack basic amenities such as TVs and functional geysers, and there’s no room service so no in room phone for any request—everything is self-service and since there is no lift, you have to climb up and down for every minute thing. Mosquitoes become a persistent nuisance in the evenings. The staff’s attitude often made us feel like they were doing us a favor for even the smallest requests. Staff insist for good review infront of them at the time of checkout. May be that is the reason behind very good rating which fooled us. Overall, the experience was disappointing and far from relaxing. Property could benefit from significantly improving its guest experience and basic hospitality standards.

Had a lovely stay at The Blue Sky Resort in Alibaug. The resort is small but charming, offering a peaceful environment and cozy rooms just a short walk from Varsoli Beach. The pool area is a great spot to relax, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It's a great place to unwind for a weekend getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil escape from the city!

While the rooms were clean, the sheets were not clean.l, especially the blanket provided. The swimming pool is not cleant regularly. The property is located around 10 min walk to the beach. The staff is good and helpful. Food provided is tasty.

We traveled as a family for 5 and had booked 2 rooms. The Rooms were not clean and the sheets were stained, i asked them to clean the washroom but no one tuned up. the beds had some insects or termites that were biting us through our the night. i still have small boils all over my body and they are itching alot. room no 001 & 002 both the door locks didn't work properly. it was a struggle to lock the door and then struggle to open as well. Food served was good, but the service is very slow. Location is close to Varsoli Beach and Alibaug beach by road.
