Sawant home stay

I stayed with my family on 18th November 2024. While the owner was polite and well-spoken, the service left much to be desired. Guests are expected to come down to collect any requested service. The rooms are small but can accommodate a maximum of three adults. However, the biggest drawback was the single shared toilet and bathroom for three rooms, which felt unhygienic and had a strong, unpleasant odor akin to a public Toilet. When asked for drinking water, we were provided with a local brand, RATNA, which had an unpleasant taste. Overall, the experience was not family-friendly and requires significant improvements service, toilet & rates as well !!!

The Sawant family is very co operative and humble.rooms are clean,24 hrs water,food is excellent.we stay here for 2 days.

We stayed here for 2 days in our Holi vacation days ...Sawant kaka is very good and co operative host. Village is very nice and peaceful,rooms are also ok But I wanted to share some feedback so it will be for improvement in future.. Sawant kaka is very supportive he arranged auto for us to roam around ratnagiri and auto driver is also very good person & coperative. I will recommend this homestay if you are looking for homestay near ratnagiri.. This homestay is operated by a family so may be they are not so professional in some services which they can improved. 1.There are two rooms where two families can live on first floor but there are no mirror or any table provided in the room. 2.Both the rooms have common toilet and bathroom even wash basin with mirror need to share which might not so friendly when there are two different families living at same time. 3.No dustbin & no hand wash was provided,jet spray of toilet was not working properly. 4.Nearby no eateries not even for breakfast,they are not providing tea or breakfast may be due to Holi days ..please confirm about food availability before booking .we requested breakfast then they arranged poha and tea but as compared to quantity 2 poha and 2 teas 100 rs looks costly.. 5.If you don't have your own vehicle then no point to live here no auto frequency to ratnagiri from this place ..for breakfast,lunch & dinner you are totally depends on ratnagiri city..they will arrange dinner if requested. 6.from this place to ratnagiri city auto ask 100-120 rs so if you want to go outside for eating you have to spend 200 rs etc for transport if you don't have vehicle.

One of the best place to stay if you r visiting ratnagiri. The owner Sawant kaka and kaku are very kind hearted and helpful people. We stayed here from 11th 14th Apr. Need and clean home in the hails of kokan. Place is 3 km away from the city. They are not offering food. But they will help to arrange from other sources.

We stayed there for 3 days and it was an awesome experience. It felt like a second home. Sawant family is very cooperative. They had arranged dinner, car for us. Surrounding is very peaceful. It is a 2bhk room with all the facilities (24hrs water, uninterrupted electricity). Highly recommended if you are looking for quiet and relaxing stay.
