Ghar Malvankaranche

This place is homely and peaceful and at a great price . I visited this place for 2 days, few days back. The hosts were very warm and sweet. Aunty and uncle were so friendly and helpful, also the food was really good, one who loves basic authentic food will love it. People who like normal and serene stays, and not fancy ones, can check out this place. Highly recommended !!

Awesome people and good place. Owners are very warm and will make you feel at home. You may face some network issues. Pros- 1 Great hospitality. 2 Awesome food, both veg and non-veg. 3 Connectivity is good. 4 Reasonable rates. 5 One stop shop! they will help you with cab bookings, water sports booking etcetera. 6 All rooms are fitted with AC, so you can easily upgrade if needed. 7 Walking distance from beach. Cons- 1 Poor network. 2 Hot water is available for limited time or on request. Geyser should help a lot.

Rooms can be maintained better along with mosquito repellent at least. Homestay 5/5 Food 5/5 - Kaku and their team cook really good. Veg. / non Veg both. Must try items for Veg : Ukdiche modak, Ghavan with chatni Normal Upma and pohe also good. Better than many restaurants in 10km circle. Response to request 5/5 - Both uncle and aunty respond to your small and feasible requests. We had 2 children of age 2yrs with us. Didn't face any kind of inconvenience. Their Property is good and feels like proper malvan style home. Recommended. Specially for food when we compare with restaurants near beaches.

We enjoyed 3 days stay here. Owners are very proactive and friendly. Beach is not even 1 km away from this place. Owner gave us the best package for scuba and other water sports like parasailing. Also the room rent was the cheapest that you can get as compared to other home stays n hotels. The homemade food was delicious! Overall a peaceful place to relax with your friends and family. You can visit Sindhudurg fort and explore Malvan also you can enjoy different water sports here. Highly recommend kolambi amti, Fish fry...Surmai..Bangda Please do visit

Food was awesome, fish thali was delicious 😋, Rooms was ok ok. Host really good in nature, guided with the places to visit and local contacts for water sports and boat safari. Overall great experience staying in this homestay.

Good experience Clean rooms and washroom. The owner is kind-hearted. Coal powered water heater. Room 1 is good and in the front. Rooms 2 and 3 are on the side. Room 4 is at the back and is scary in the night time. The property can accommodate 3 hatchback cars. While 2 more cars can be adjusted outside the compound.

The uncle and aunty (caretakers) are very sweet and hospitable. Good food preparation. Local authentic taste. The rooms are ok. Decent enough. If you just want to sleep and nothing else is required, can try this place - especially on a budget.

We visited Tarkarli for 3days in early DEC-2018, We were 3 families and had booked 3 rooms at Ghar Malvankaranche. We throughly enjoyed our stay as the property has good ambience, 5mins walk from near and clean beach, central to all local attractions. Hosts were very friendly and gave us good guidance on what to explore in the area. Last but not least, after tasting the awesome food made by the hosts, almost all days we had breakfast, lunch and dinner at Ghar Malvankaranche. Everyone including kids enjoyed the Yummy and fresh sea food cooked in local flavours. So for us it was a very Joyous, refreshing break. Big thanks to hosts and we would highly recommend this place to anyone who would like to enjoy a visit to Malvan... Dhanyawad...
