My first visit to Malvan couldn't have been better! Staying at Acharekar's Home Stay was an incredible experience. Shankar, the host and owner, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect—always on time and well-arranged. The stay felt so homely and personalized that we never felt like we were at someone else's place. The food was absolutely amazing—fresh fish, healthy home-cooked meals, and exceptional service. The rooms (both AC and Non-AC) were comfortable, with free Wi-Fi as a bonus, and the whole experience was very budget-friendly. If you're looking for a cozy, welcoming, and affordable stay in Malvan, this is the place to be!

Our experience at Acharekar Homestay was excellent. The owner, Mr. Shankar Acharekar is a very cooperative and friendly person. He also runs a water sports business, and he offered us a discounted package as guests of the homestay. The stay included a room with breakfast and tea. We also had dinner at the homestay, and the food was delicious and well-prepared. The location is convenient, as it is very close to Dandi Beach—just a 5-minute walk away. While car parking is not available at the homestay itself, the owner arranged secure parking at a nearby gated bungalow.

Hygienic and Comfortable Rooms: The rooms are superbly maintained, very hygienic, and offer a comfortable, homely environment. Peaceful Atmosphere: The homestay provides a serene and peaceful environment, perfect for relaxation. Proximity to Beach: A beautiful white sand beach is just a one-minute walk away, adding to the charm of the location. This was my first homestay experience and glad to report it was great. Acharekar homestay is at great location, very quiet place in a very friendly family neighbourhood. "I recently stayed at this homestay located just 1.5 km from the Malvan bus stand and within walking distance of Malvan Beach. The rooms were clean and comfortable, making it perfect for solo travelers, families, and couples alike. The homestay offers all the necessary amenities, ensuring a relaxing stay. It was a great experience for all us. This is THE BEST Home Stay we came across in Malwan. The owner Mr. Shankar has prepared a unique pictorial representation of North n South Sindhudurg n also Malwan so you get a overview of what all the places you can vist. Vehicle is available for you with driver at regular prescribed cost. They run watersports at minimum cost range, the staff takes good care of you. N main food . Mrs. Acharekar gives you the best of MALWANI VEG N NONVEG FOOD. They always consider what you want to eat. N ask for your preference. THE best USP of this home stay is there is big vharanda in front of your rooms where family can sit n chit chat, play cards , carrom board. . N last but not least is The whole Aacharekar family is so humble that you feel you are staying in your own house or some relatives home. Mr. Shankar has a BEST tagline Aacharekar's IS A ONE STOP SHOP .

Experience of staying in Acharekar home stay was excellent. All at one place. Owner Mr. Shankar is very cooperative and friendly person. Pick up and drop at Kudal station was provided.He also helped us to plan our site seeing, water sports activities. They provide self-driven scooters/ cars for transportation. They arrange sports activities at discounted price. Their location is also near beach. They served tasty Malvani food.Fried prawns and Ghavne Chatney were mouth watering.We would definitely love to visit with family again.

It is the best homestay near Dandi beach. Food is very tasty. Daji Roge is such nice, humble person & gives good suggestions about tourist places in Malvan. Great hospitality service by Achrekar & Daji Roge. From this tourist can cover almost all important tourist places such as Rock Garden, Chivle beach, Jay Ganesh Mandir, Sindhudurg Fort, Tarkarli beach, Devbag Sangam etc. You can take a bike on rent & visit all tourist places in less time. The rooms are very nice & clean. This home stay is near to the beach & you can visit the beach by just 1 min walking.
