Chaitanya Home stay ratnagiri

This homestay at Sadamirya village is very special. We stayed for 2 days and have felt home. Though 5 km away from the city, this location is away from the busy streets but is amidst Mango farms and huge landscape of backwaters along side it. A bit of off roading and there are remote beaches around this village too.The homestay is a blend of traditional Konkan architecture and modern amenities. The host Swapnaja ji has been very kind and supportive. She was suggesting us on local cuisine and culture, locations to explore and was guiding us throughout. She can arrange food too but with prior intimation. I'm falling short of words to explain my experience there, but I can simply conclude that this is the go to homestay for every traveller visiting Ratnagiri.

The Homestay is near the Mirkarwada jetty (Fish market). The food was Really Delicious. We really enjoyed Fry Fish and Kolambi Rassa. Morning Breakfast is too good but a little costly. Overall service is Awesome. If you want to stay in Local Kokan Homestay you can visit and enjoy the food.

I stayed with my wife while passing through Ratnagiri and I have to say it was a very comfortable village experience. Homemade food, all basic facilities and very hygienic. Thank you Swapnaja for wonderful hospitality!

I had my stay at Chaitanya Home stay a week ago. Service was above par I can say and that's what I was fond of. They have traditional village style concept which is unique than other Homestay and resorts which makes you feel as your home. Host Swapnaja will adhere to all your requirements such as food, local tour guide. Authentic veg and also chicken thali was lit I can say. Whenever I will visit Ratnagiri, this Homestay will be my go-to halt. Also one unique point about this homestay is, it's located in the outkirts of Ratnagiri where city is 10 minutes away. The Beach experience while reaching the Homestay is very soothing

Nice homestay near Ratnagiri and it is out from the hustle bustle of the town, still all the attractions are near from this stay. There are beautiful beaches around and the host Swapnaja is simply awesome. She cooks great, is very friendly and takes care of your comfort.
