Karma Homestay

Spend 2 night there,rooms are good but the lunch they provided one day is chowmin as we say ,but they gave us veg.chowmin and which is such deep fried that unable to eat .cause it's colour is black,🥹 that disappointed us in our lunch time. Another is, the driver they set for us was a rude ,non cooperative,wants extra charges all the time, hurrying us to be quick to leave the spot.which totally spoilt our trip. There was always a communication gap between homestay owners and driver. So my rate to this is 2star. Never go there, There are many others homestay who provided good services. Believe me.

Spent two nights with them and the 5 star review is majorly for the warmth of the hosts and their efforts to make the stay comfortable. It's a beautiful location if you like isolated peaceful stay. Food was amazing and place was neat & clean. Common bathrooms are an issue but that's the way things are in this part of world ! Would love to spend more time with the family !!

Had contacted them to organise the full Silk Route tour, booking all the accommodations in Sillerygaon, Dalapchand, Zuluk, Nathang, Rolep. Every homestay was very well located, very clean rooms and toilets, clean blankets, and all having very good food. The service in every homestay was helpful. We stayed in their own property Karma Homestay in Dalapchand. It was the best homestay in the whole route. The rooms were very big with all modern facilities. There was a big sit-out covered verandah with sofas and low tables to spend the evening chatting amongst ourselves. The food was served piping hot and tasty. I must say the owner Ashish Gurung and his family were the best hosts, always smiling, always friendly, always ready to help. We had the most amazing experience here!

We would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation for the service and care we received at Karma Home Stay, Aritar on 13th April 2017.Our room was extremely nice and spacious. Very roomy and a fantastic view from Balcony . Lovely homely atmosphere, perfect for Breakfast, lunch and dinner. We liked the tasty food so much ! Freshly made dishes with organic vegetables. A well set up small place to eat, all of good quality and prompt service. I took my friends Mr. Nirupam Dhar, Mr. Pulak Chattpadhyay and Mr. Amit Roy on our first vacation in the year of 2017, and I wanted it to be perfect. Mr. Asish Gurung execution did not disappoint me. We had a wonderful vacation, and we have recommended Karma Home Stay to all of my colleagues, friends and family. Thank you so much for our warm reception and your gracious hospitality on our recent Sikkim Old Silk route tour.

I have visited and stayed here on 23rd March, 2016 with my wife Smt Kumkum Mukhopadhyay. Great hospitality beyond words was experienced. It was difficult to feel that it was not my home. Food is extremely good, plenty and feeds your will with any variety you want. Cooking standard is very high but homely. The rooms are very much comfortable and well equipped. The owner creates an atmosphere of love and respect where you feel overwhelmed. The funniest of all is that the rate is not only cheaper, it will never let you think twice when you pay. A great experience.

Glad that we selected this homestay and had contact with Mr. Ashish who made my Silk route tour memorable. He is very humble and the people he arranges for the tour accomplishment are also good in nature. There can be problems here and there while a tour is arranged but ultimately good people and scenery will be in your heart forever.

Lovely little cottage in the very quaint village of aritar. Mesmerising surroundings and the balcony provides just the most spectacular view of sunrise. Mr. Gurung, the owner and his family are exceptionally hospitable and very very sweet people. They have their own kitchen garden filled with lush fruit and vegetables trees. In fact, all vegetables for the meals are sourced from their own farms. Must visit place. I know I can't wait to go back again!

Had a pleasant and lovely stay here on 14 Oct 2018. Ashish and his family hosted us in a warm and friendly manner. Can't forget their pet dog Dober who accompanied us lovingly in our morning walk.
