Firstly the booking procedure was very smooth and it was our first time visiting Sikkim so we had so many questions, but the host was very generous and calm even if we called him late at night for any questions he would answer very calmly, Second is the check in process, very smooth and hustle free, the host even booked the cabs to and fro for us The very talented boy Prakash who sits at the reception and also cooks amazing amazing food should be applauded, he took care of us so well, it just felt like home. The property was a proper homestay, and we wish we could visit with our family, and if we ever plan to visit Sikkim again with family we would not choose any other place but soke. Great great great experience. Thankyou osman ji and Prakash you made our stay memorable.

Overall a good hotel. Rooms were decent, and we particularly liked the location and the hilly views of Gangtok. There was an unfortunate issue around booking the room which caused us a lot of headache and arguments with the hotel staff (basically, do not book through Agoda) - otherwise, we had a pretty good stay here and good memories.

Loved my stay at Soke Boutique Homestay! It’s just 10–15 minutes from the valley — probably the closest you can stay to it in Gangtok, which makes it super special. The location is peaceful, the rooms are cozy and well-maintained, and the views are stunning. Perfect for anyone looking for a quiet, nature-filled getaway with a homely vibe. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for two nights on either side of our visit to Nathula. (Our choice to stay far from the city was deliberate.) The view was awesome. The food options were limited, but the items were prepared very well. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We were 9 members in our family consisting of senior citizens too. The stay, hospitality and care were very impressive more particularly Manager Bablu was really helpful and caring to the tourists. Certainly recommend to my friends.

1. It is not at all home stay. It is commercially run leased hotel. So if you are looking homestay....it's a big No. 2. Much far from the main city. Google shows only 5-6 kms but in hilly areas roads are not good plus traffic makes your journey of more than 30 minutes. You won't find any taxi. Manager has given some taxi person's number but he didn't came on time. We have to wait for 30.minutes even though didn't get another one. 3. Views are ok only. You will find more scenic view from other hotels which are near by city. During traveling to all over sikkim you will get more scenic view of mountains. 4. Only positive thing was food. 5. We had 2 nights booking but due to some emergency we had to stay 1 night more in North Sikkim so reduced our stay by 1 night. I had confirmed with manager, inform everything he agreed that we don't need to pay for extra night. But at our check out time he changed n denied about our talk. Normally local people don't cheat like this. Owner of hotel is local. But run by Bengali people. 5 So if you are planning your self, don't book anything advance go there see and take room. You will always get better options. Gangtok has plenty of hotels. Even in pick season also.....Soke was empty. So don't get in hurry to book hotels.

Such a wonderful stay in SOKE special thanks to MR. Osman and their staff who ensured that we will have happy and safe stay. We really had a peaceful stay with great window view and delicious food. Overall I personally love this place and really recommended.
