Little Forest Cottage

We stayed at the Little Forest Cottage in Mekkarai, and it was an absolutely peaceful and refreshing experience. The cottage felt just like a home away from home, surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of nature. The rooms were neat, clean, well-maintained, and made us feel completely safe and comfortable throughout our stay. It’s the perfect place for anyone looking to slow down, unwind, and enjoy some calm, peaceful days away from the hustle and bustle. The location is also ideal for exploring nearby attractions such as Achankovil, Thenmala, Tenkasi, and Courtallam. A special mention to Vignaya & her Husband, who were incredibly helpful, humble, and welcoming. Their warm hospitality made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a serene escape amidst nature. 🌿✨

This stay will always have a special place in my memories of Tenkasi. ❤️ The stay itself was so comfortable, peaceful and welcoming, and staying here was the perfect base for exploring everything around Tenkasi. We visited places like Konni Forest and Rosemala, and it was so nice to come back to a place that felt safe, comfortable and homely after a day of exploring. What made the experience even more special was the owners. They were incredibly warm, supportive and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. They didn’t just feel like hosts, they were almost like our own guides, helping us with places to visit, what to explore and making sure we were comfortable and safe throughout. There was such a genuine warmth in the way they took care of us that made the whole trip feel different. We went there as guests, but left with so many beautiful memories and a feeling of having been truly looked after. ❤️ I would absolutely love to come back here whenever I’m in Tenkasi again.

Unforgettable family getaway! We stayed at Little Forest Cottage with a family group of 6, and it was the perfect escape. The cottage itself was incredibly comfy, clean, and felt like a home away from home. We spent our evening laughing and playing Uno together. The absolute highlight, though, was having access to the beautiful private waterfalls which is few meters away from the property —it felt so exclusive and peaceful to enjoy nature without the crowds. Highly recommended.
