Smith garden Farm House, Pondicherry

First time for me visiting Smith Garden, it’s a very beautiful and well maintained property. Highly recommend for a family to stay. Property lush with greenery, if one is a mango lover then summer is the right time to visit. They serve one of best simple breakfast. Both Smitha and Biju are excellent hosts. I highly recommend to my family and friends and surely will be one of my top to go place in future

We truly loved the serene vibe and homely comfort.The infrastructure was vibrant and uniquely designed. Although it's a bit far from Pondicherry, the peaceful, private setting surrounded by nature makes it well worth the stay. The host was also friendly and welcoming

I recently stayed here with my family, and my experience was fantastic. The property was impeccably clean, with spotless rooms and well-kept common areas. The staff were incredibly supportive and friendly, always ready to help and provide recommendations. Parking was convenient, making it easy to explore the area. They provided all the amenities as promised, and if you need anything additional, they are ready to assist. The kitchen is equipped with all essentials and cooking accessories, so if you're traveling with a child like we were, you won’t need to carry everything with you. If you're looking for a pleasant stay away from heavy traffic in a safe environment for your family, this is the right place. Their breakfast was excellent and made us feel right at home. I highly recommend Smith Garden Farm House and can’t wait to return!

Our experience at the property was enjoyable.. the environment was serene and well maintained. The host was exceptionally hospitable and provided necessary support. The property itself was stunning, showcasing a wealth of artistic elements and a lovely garden.

Pros - 1- Hosts are very helpful. They also shared the tourist spots beforehand. 2- Quiet place with no disturbance from traffic or crowd. Many facilities(Kitchen, AC, Wifi, washing machine, cutlery Induction stove, oven, Swing, Rocking chair, Car parking, instant geyser etc) available. 3- Toiletries and towels provided. 3-There are lots of restaurants and stores for shopping nearby on Auroville main road. 4-Breakfast and milk comes with the package. 5- Our cottage had space in the first floor to dry clothes. Cons- 1- Need to deviate from Auroville main road and it takes 5-10 min of bumpy ride on mud roads to reach the spot but GPS shows the location accurately. 2- You get a toll booth to enter Pondicherry from this location. If you plan to visit the town multiple times then be ready to spend more toll fee. 3- One need a private vehicle to move around as there isn't anything available in walking distance.
