Dream promenade

I booked this property in booking.com and I got a message from this property asking me to pay advance, which I paid to the person they told us to pay. And then they sent a message saying rooms aren't available . Then I called the supervisor or whoever he is to ask for refund as we made other plans as they said rooms werent available. It took him one week to just come up with "It is your fault for not confirming with us about unavailability of rooms, so we can't refund". He is being highly impolite now and is claiming that it is my mistake for not calling him to confirm about room's unavailability when it was them who sent the message. Sadly, not able to mention his name as he was not ready to give his details. Don't trust this property. Very rude behaviour. Don't know to handle customers. One star rating is the minimum to put a review. Or else it would have been a ZERO. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

We booked a family room last weekend (28 -30 June ) to spend near the beach for a group of 4. The location is far away from the city . We were aware of this while booking ,as we traveled in a car and transport was not a problem for us. We paid 2000 advance as well . What disappointed me the most is the location. It did not give us the vibe of a hotel or a resort . It’s a very small space. We did not step inside the hotel . We saw the location and surroundings and decided not to check in, inspite of paying ₹2000 as an advance . For any one travelling to Pondicherry don’t get fooled by French names for hotels . You will get good hotels in the city , Ofcourse but away from the beach . If good location is your priority like me , I recommend to book some where within the city limits.

1. Friendly person and provides good support, 2. Rooms are near and clean, AC is good & decent 3. Rest room near and clean 4. Budget friendly location and walkable distance to beach 5. Since the location is on ECR, you can hear the road noise loud .... Only issue, if you want to say

I had a wonderful stay at Dream Promenade Hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel truly welcomed throughout my visit. The room appeared tidy, yet exceedingly cramped. Lacking any form of ventilation, not even an exhaust fan, it relied solely on a small aperture in the bathroom for airflow, rendering it rather stifling. Furthermore, morning power outages exacerbated the discomfort, compounded by the absence of air conditioning.

The room was spacious and totally neat and clean. I had a good experience staying there, also they gave the breakfast 😀 which was good.

Nice room those who looking for budget friendly near beach(Aurovile beach) & the Receptionist is very kind & friendly. i will book again if i visit pondicheery in future for sure
