Syamantac Villa Kodaikanal - Home Stay

Very bad experience. The owner did not told about very bad condition of access road. There is no power back up. Power cut is frequent. Today there is no power for full day. It was not told. No hot water in the bathroom. There is no value for money charged. I strongly recommend not to opt for Syamantac.

My stay here was absolutely peaceful! The view you get for the price is the key factor. Especially i stayed in the wood house which was well maintained and felt soo cozy, they have very good wifi so i was able to work from being in the stay. All food delivery apps worked which made it convenient for food. Special mention to Girija aunty who made me feel like family when i left the stay. I would absolutely recommend the stay for whom ever is looking for a home away from home( bonus- the view🤌🏻), and in a budget.

I would definitely recommend this villa to others. The viewpoint is absolutely beautiful and made our stay even more enjoyable—it truly felt perfect. The food was exceptional, some of the best I've had. The onion pakoda was crispy and delicious, and the pepper chicken curry was absolutely outstanding. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would love to visit again. The owner was kind, soft-spoken, and very welcoming, which made our stay even more pleasant.

We booked our stay at Syamantacvilla for two days to celebrate a special occasion, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable in my life. The property is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views all around. Even though I had booked a Mountain View room, our host, Dr. Chef Girija, went above and beyond by arranging a surprise celebration at the charming Wood House in the private lawn. Sitting on the balcony is like hanging on the sky. The birthday cake cutting in such a peaceful and scenic setting truly made our day unforgettable. A special mention to Basu, the caretaker, who looked after us with great care and kindness throughout our stay. We enjoyed his delicious food from his kitchen. Kudos to him for his wonderful hospitality! We highly recommend Syamantacvilla to our family and friends. Thank you for making our special occasion so memorable. We look forward to visiting again!
