The homestay was maintained well. The food was good, by the time we arrived at the stay, the food was already prepared and served to us hot, it was tasty aswell. The caretaker, Sagar is a hardworking boy. We were relaxed when we were staying there because he brought anything/everything we wanted in a minute without a delay. Would stay here again if I were came to kodaikanal.

I have stayed 1 night with my partner. I have booked a room with balcony. It has good view worth the stay. Room & bathroom was maintained good. Comparing other homestay is was quite maintained cleanly. Good for family & couples. Also within 10 mins drive u can reach kodaikanal lake. Area neads to be improved a bit more : bathrooms can be improved and complementary breakfast was not bad , bt a bit it can be improved.

The best feature of this hotel is definitely the balcony view. There are two room options: one with a balcony (which comes with an extra charge) and one without. However, there are some aspects of the service that could be improved. The food service operates on a set schedule, and there are time constraints to be aware of. They don’t offer any welcome drinks, and coffee or tea is not complimentary – you’ll be charged for it afterward, even though the cost isn’t mentioned upfront. Moreover, neither tea nor coffee powder is provided in the room. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast is typically served around 9:30 AM. If you plan to go sightseeing in the morning, it might be more efficient to cancel the breakfast, as the timing could delay your plans. However, it would have been much more helpful if these details were communicated more clearly and in advance to avoid any confusion.

The best thing about this property is the balcony view and it is placed in a peaceful environment away from the city hustling. Don’t expect anything other than that. Otherwise it just another place to stay. Basic things like, welcome drink( Juice/Coffee/Tea )should be paid and that also not available at that time you asking. Because there are some time constraints for the kitchen services. If you have elderly family members who are keen on the food timings, then you should revisit your decision. Property: 📈 Services: 📉

We had an amazing stay at Berry's Homestay! We were a group of four and booked two rooms: the Premium Balcony View Room and the Deluxe Non-Balcony Room. Both rooms were fantastic, offering great comfort and a cozy atmosphere. The homemade food was absolutely delicious. We ordered dinner, including rice, rasam, onion pakoda, and pepper chicken, and everything tasted amazing. The morning complimentary breakfast of pongal and vada was equally delightful. Manager Balaji welcomed us warmly and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay. The price was definitely worth it for the quality of service and the comfort we experienced. This property has 5 rooms, and it can comfortably accommodate up to 20 people, making it a great option for families or colleagues traveling together. We would give Berry's Homestay a perfect 10 out of 10! Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.
