NillIt's a pretty decent home stay and very affordable. We spent 3k per day for 7 adults and 2 kids, which is way way better than the other lodgings. They have a complete kitchen setup and also have a 2-wheeler for the usage of the guests. It would be nice if the vessels and other kitchen appliances were maintained clean. The bathrooms can have racks to place the toiletries. Also, the quality of water must be taken care of. It was brown and had some metallic taste, when rinsed. Not sure if it's the quality of the water in that area. If they could work on these, then it's definitely a peaceful stay for a short visit with family!

NillWe had a wonderful stay at this place—it was affordable, super clean, and perfect for both family and friends. Honestly, it’s one of the best homestays we’ve ever been to. The rooms were very hygienic, and the mini garden was such a peaceful spot to relax. They even had bikes available, which made getting around really easy. The owner was extremely kind and responsive, always ready to help. We traveled from Salem to Kumbakonam to visit Swamimalai, and our group had 9 people, including 2 elderly and 2 kids. The stay was spacious, comfortable, and especially convenient for the elderly. Truly a great experience!✨❤️

NillWent for a holy trip vacation with 20 people to accommodate. Rooms were neat and bathrooms are clean. There is a cozy garden area inside the stay, and dogs are allowed here. Two car parkings and a nice place to chill with family/friends

NillPoor response to the calls and WhatsApp messages (Sep-2023). We had connected thro phone call and WhatsApp for 4 day stay. Initially the manager committed for 1st floor. We had asked for ground floor. He said he will swap us for ground floor if cancelled. But to our ultimate shock, he revealed that both properties have been booked already and we cannot stay. Utter disappointment to us. He didn't feel to say that. Team seems to be more money minded. Kindly ensure that you get commitment while you book with them. Hence not happy with the experience. Never stayed there due to this. So cannot comment on property as I never stayed there

NillThe owner and the manager were friendly. I spoke to them and booked the place two weeks in advance. On the day of my arrival, the manager called to confirm my arrival. The location is off the Mayiladuthurai main road and about 4 KM from the train station and city center. There are many twists and turns that may be confusing. If Google Map cooperates, you can find the homestay easily. The place is not well lit at night and you will have to use a flashlight. If it rains, the place gets filled with water. There are no streetlights and the road is not paved (it may change in few years time). In the morning, you will know that there are many new houses around the homestay. There is a department store diagonally opposite to the homestay. The whole area sleeps early and so there were no people at 10 PM (if you needed help). The homestay has a 2-BHK house in the ground floor with a parking area and a 1-big hall with kitchen in the first floor. There is a terrace with washroom. We used the space in the second floor. It had two double beds, a table, a fan, a water purifier, a television which had no subscription and so we could not watch television. (I will not talk about the kitchen as I did not choose to use it.) The checkin process was easy and the security guard helped me throughout the stay. He would come early in the morning to ask if I wanted to bring us coffee. The manager visited me when I was checking out. We stayed in the homestay for two days. It was a nice pit stop. From there we traveled to Thirumanencheri and Thanjavur on the first day with a afternoon rest. On the second day, we visited temples in and around Kumbakonam. This place is good for those who want a short stay and also a longer stay (good with a lot of people).
