Kumbakonam Home Stay

Clean and comfortable homestay located in a quiet street but within walking distances to the local market and temples. The staff were very friendly and quick to respond to any requests and the overall service was excellent. Good value for money. Would highly recommend.

This is a decent place and gives that warmth of a home. It is nothing fancy but we enjoyed our stay here. We were allotted a room first and since the ac was not working, we were given a different room promptly. Since we traveled with our one year old, we had to get the milk ready. They were very helpful with storing the milk and sending milk to us to the room as soon as we asked them.

All staffs were very warm and welcoming. They were ready to help out. The Ac's in the room were working but yet not reducing the room temperature. We really enjoyed the stay. Reasonable price for the accommodation. They help with parking our cars if required.(Guide and suggest parking lots)

This is located near Kasiraman street and it's in Anna nagar. Pretty good for couples and families (who don't have babies). I stress this point because I had a tough time managing a few things. Like there is no kitchen sink (to wash bottles), they don't provide an induction stove or kettle, just 2 pillows for one bedroom. If you don't find these things a problem, then you will find your stay comfortable. They have an attached canteen so you don't have to worry about food and coffee. Car parking is available. Fare is pricey. We took a family room with 2 bedrooms and they charged ₹3300 (24 hours). Otherwise, go to place if you are going to stay for one or two days in Kumbakonam. It will give you an at home experience.

Economical,clean, comfortable. Coffee and tea is available all day. A dining room provides basic and good breakfast and dinner. It is well managed, despite the limited staff. I only wish that it can be ensured that no mosquitos and lizards are present in the suites and rooms.
