Mahabs Homestay Villa

The complete resort was very comfort and pleasant. Great escape from city to have a peace weekend, this resort fullfill our requirement. There will be enough things to cook on your own and enjoy your food outside sitting on spacious verendah listening to birds chirping. There you have a small bath setup outside the home...we enjoyed and relaxed there for a while..which was a great arrangement from Gowtham. There were good survillance camera which provides you with great security and safety. Good place to spend your weekend with your loved ones.

Location is about 2km from the beach .So not so easily accessible. Stay was comfortable. Gautam ,the host was very welcoming ,supportive ,lent us his scooter for the early morning ride to the beach ,excellent home made food which we liked very much. Fixed up a good auto for sightseeing .The kitchen there is equipped .A few satchets of ready to drink tea would have been very useful .The place is suitable for a group of five people or a family with kids too.Veda

Recently visited Mahabs homestay villa, such a amazing place. Best place for both families and couple's make peaceful weekend. They provide everything like gas stove, Refrigerator, etc., Cheap and best place. Organiser was such nice guy his is Gowtham, he is kind hearted person to make us comfortable.

Firstly, the place is a good stay. We had a simple time with the birds chirping. I had gone along with my wife and baby. The villa had all amenities like fridge, oven, gas stove,toaster, utensils and a water geyser. The host welcomed well and catered to our needs readily. Homemade food was provided by the host upon request. Pros: There was one room with two queen size beds. It was quite comfortable with toiletries provided by them along with water bottles. Washroom was neatly maintained. Hospitality was good. Host ensured we had access to milk packets since we didn't need coffee. Cons: Exterior of the rooms needs good maintainance. Like we couldn't sit in terrace as the place was dirty. And the playground was broken so it was not usable. There was a power shut down. But the host assured it would come soon and it did. But then we realised there was no power backup. So we need to plan accordingly. Food was ok but little expensive. End: if you're someone who's gonna be visiting out all day and come back to relax this place is best. It's suitable for 5 adults maximum. Also, u can bring ur own stuff to cook so it is good.

We stayed in this property for couple of nights recently and overall experience was comfortable. This is independent house comprising of one bedroom with 2 queen size bed, hall & kitchen (accompanied by gas stove, oven, fridge and basic utensils), bathroom. As an independent house, 100% privacy was there as Mr. Gowtham who is maintaining this property handover the house and maingate keys to guests. He is very cooperative and helpful for the guests and made our stay comfortable. We requested him to buy few groceries and he did purchase the same. Home made food also prepared based on guests request. We four of our family requested Mr. Gowtham to prepare tawa fish, fish curry and rice which was good. The food was prepared at caretaker home. We felt the cost of tawa fish was expensive compared to the top restaurant prices. Otherwise, food was tasty and fish marinated well. We would like to visit this property once again in near future.

The rooms were neat, clean, very comfortable and the host was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make us stay enjoyable and I highly recommend this homestay for anyone who visits Mahabalipuram. The location of the property is serene. You can hear birds sounds in the morning which is a great way to wake up. Their homemade food was very tasty.

We stayed for 3 days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.. the hospitality and support provided by Gowtham is excellent.. he has arranged homemade food as and when we requested for and charges are reasonable. He has suggested the best beach places and food joints as well and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip.

Property is located in a nice area, away from hustle and bustle of Mahabalipuram, but close enough to walk. Rooms are clean, wifi available, water heater working. Homemade breakfast fresh and tasty. Mr Gowtham is very nice and always helpful. Definitely will stay there again when visiting Mahabalipuram; value for money is very good.
