Stayed at Kelso house and it was fantastic! The hotel was spotless and beautifully designed, offering a luxurious and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. The food was delicious, with a great variety and amazing flavors. Highly recommend for an exceptional stay!

Very instagram friendly type of place where you get that luxury hotel vibe. the main heritage building is owners residence, you get to stay at the new block which is really good but overall services lags.. the luggage porter, the reception staff, the room service person, the chef everything was just one guy.. my bread was spoiled and they couldn’t really make a decent coffee, obviously because they don’t have many guests and they need to manage without a proper cook and fresh items (such as fresh fruits) these are basic things i expect a hotel to provide but it didn’t work out for me. I wont recommend unless you just want a great view and luxury room alone.

By far one of the best places I have stayed in the recent times. The rooms, ambience and the food is just amazing. The staff is super helpful. Location wise also it’s very good. Highly recommend!! Thanx for making our stay a memorable one!

I had an incredible stay at Kelso House. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The staffs were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. The room was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a home away from home.

One of the beat places i have stayed in till date. Very amazing heritage property in Ooty, the ambience location staff and everything was perfect. A very well maintained property and definitely recommended for your next Ooty trip. Kelso House in Ooty is an absolute gem! The property is stunning—far more beautiful than the official photos suggest—and set in a great location, making it easy to explore Ooty's attractions. Kelso is a 200 year old colonial bungalow in the Nilgiris. Beautifully done interiors remind of us the colonial era. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Yeshwant was at the reception desk and he was prompt in addressing any concerns we had. The food is served in the common dining area and had a pretty decent breakfast spread. They also made us dosa and other items on special request. The rooms are spacious and very clean although wifi signal was pretty weak. The garden is well maintained and offers a bird eye view of the city. There is an activity room near to the dining area that offers board games as well. Outside food and alcohol is strictly prohibited there.

Truly enjoyed the stay at Kelso, everything about this place is a positive. The location , the service , the food and of course the ambience is amazing! The front desk staffs were very friendly and service was top notch. I just had breakfast there , the spread was simple but very tasty. The Garden view is simply a bliss to our eyes. I would highly recommend this place to everyone who visit Ooty. I'm glad I found this gem in Ooty.
