Celebration Cottage

Perfect home away from home… Host was very responsible and guided us throughout the stay. He was a step ahead with his recommendations on food and destinations. We had a 1.5 year old kid with us, he enjoyed the place as much as we did. Garden, living room, bed rooms were spacious for him to play and explore his surroundings. We were allowed to use the kitchen. It had a aqua filter drinking water. Water was not an issue for us throughout our stay. View from the house is an added plus. Already recommended to friends and family. Perfect for family with kids. Thank you Sean, you have been respectful and wonderful.

At a much higher elevation than Ooty town , the place was chilled even during peak summer. It was impossible to hang out the home due to the chilling cold breeze. I am unable to think how cold it would be during the winter. The person who is running the homestay was a very helpful and down to earth person. We stayed for two nights and it was a peaceful, happy stay and we slept really well.

Perfect location for a majestic view of Ooty and it's hills. You'll get the most soul-touching view of Ooty, can't get any better than that. A bit overpriced, but worth it given the weather and the location. Owner and staff are very chill and friendly. They have a perfect space carved out for bonfires too. Perfect for a family stay.

A small cozy airbnb just few mins away from main market. The view from here is breathtaking specially during rainy season when its surrounded by cloud. The location is the USP. But do follow up for the bonfire as that can be a miss.

Celebration Cottage in Otty is a beautiful home located on Tiger Hills in Ooty, a ten minute drive out of the town up the Hills. We were welcomed by the most amazing host Mr. Shekhar who welcomed us from the gate all the way into the wonderful two story Bungalow. The rooms are very tidy comprising of three bedrooms of which two are master ensuite and with the necessary amenities which including hot water, two towels (hand and body), soap, a water dispenser in the lounge, all kitchen utensils and a wonderful sitting and dining area inside the property. The property has got the most magnificent views of the mountains and farms on the cliff. It also has what we all love a beautiful Bonfire place in the garden. The house is very well maintained and Mr. Shekhar is there to provide for all the necessary needs and information about Ooty and all the places to visit.

Truly a Home away from Home. Ooty trip with my family was memorable & the contribution is more from the stay at Celebration Cottage. The place is closer to Charring Cross. We could be at our own privacy. Online Food delivery is no hassle. Very good ambience, scenic sunrise. Doddabatta point can be viewed from balcony. Team is always connected for guidance, help from Mr Shan, Mr Shekar are adorable. Our family enjoyed the stay and made our trip the most pleasant & memorable. Love to come back again & have a longer stay. Thank you.

Best homestay experience I've ever had! The place is very clean, cozy and great hospitality! Is conveniently close to Charing Cross but also allows tourists to explore the offbeat Ooty landscapes, breathtaking views and treks to the Tiger Hills Reservoirs by walk and the Hill's peak leads to the magnificent view of the entire mountain, Doddabetta! We have been to Ooty multiple times but this was our best experience ever!!
